WWE Raw house show
Boise, Idaho at Taco Bell Arena
Report by Dot Net reader Melissa
Taco Bell Arena was about 75 percent full, which is fuller than when they were there in 2008.
1. Chavo Guerrero beat Evan Bourne with a roll-up. Jack Swagger came out and beat up Bourne, who was saved by Mark Henry, who then declared a tag match.
2. Mark Henry and Evan Bourne defeated Jack Swagger and Chavo Guerrero. Henry hit the World's Strongest Slam on Chavo, then tagged Bourne who hit the Shooting Star Press for the win.
3. Yoshi Tatsu defeated Carlito. Carlito came out and cut a promo on Yoshi Tatsu saying Tatsu belonged on NXT, not the main roster. There were a lot of near-falls in this match with a good back and forth momentum. Tatsu dodged a kick in the corner, which set up a Tatsu kick to the head for the win.
4. Chris Masters (w/ Eve) beat Zack Ryder (w/ Rosa Mendez) with a Master Lock. The match was stopped briefly when Masters received a small cut above his left eye. He bled quite a bit, but they glued him up and the match continued.
5. Christian beat Cody Rhodes. Rhodes came out and cut a promo on Randy Orton about how Orton no longer wants to be a part of Legacy. Rhodes hit a great moonsault which topped off a match with a lot of top-rope action. Christian hit the Kill Switch and picked up the pin.
6. Gail Kim and Kelly Kelly beat Maryse and Alicia Fox with special guest referee Santino Marella. Kelly Kelly did a stinkface on Alicia Fox. Kelly Kelly hit a leg drop and got the pin. After the match, Maryse attacked Alicia Fox and Santino somehow ended up rolling aroud with them for a bit.
7. Big Show beat Kofi Kingston. Overall this was kind of a slow match. Kingston went to spring off the ropes, but Big Show caught him with a punch to the face and got the pin.
Hornswoggle came out and had kids running around the ring with him for a bit.
-DX came out and did their little intro thing and Triple H ended up throwing his glow sticks into the scaffolding, so he had to do it again. When Triple H grabbed the mic it went flying at the referee. Triple H made a crack about the company being cheap, so they brought him a wireless mic. He then mentioned that they'd said on Raw that they weren't doing the DX thing any more, but they "forgot" they'd booked it in Boise and so it was special. But then Triple H added that they'd done the same thing in Salt Lake City the night before, but we could still pretend it was special.
8. DX and John Cena beat Batista, Sheamus, and Randy Orton. The match started out with Batista and Cena, but Batista kept ducking out of the ring, which caused a "boring" chant to start. Triple H spent most of the match in the ring. Cena hit his "five moves of doom" on Orton, then a back and forth of finishers. HBK hit Sweet Chin Music on Orton, which gave Cena a chance to hit the Attitude Adjustment on Orton and get the pin. The match started out slow and boring and kind of continued that way through the end.
Biggest Pops:
