3/24 WWE Raw in Salisbury, Maryland: A full report on the show featuring Kofi Kingston & Chris Jericho vs. Ziggler & Big E Langston and John Cena, Sheamus & Ryback vs The Shield

Huge crowd. I've been to a lot of events here and I've never seen a crowd this big for anything except maybe Disney on Ice. Spotted some Briscoe Brothers shirts in the crowd, that made me happy.

1. Sweet T and Brodus Clay (w/Funkadactyls) defeated Heath Slater and Jinder Mahal. Brodus caught Slater's jacket before the match started and put it on. Quality comedy match with an awesome monkey flip from Tensai. Naomi hit a hurricanranna late in the match. Good heat for 3MB.

2. Zack Ryder defeated Titus O'Neil. Decent match with some fun stuff from Titus. Ryder hit the Rough Ryder for the three. The Shield beat down Zach after the match.

3. Kaitlyn defeated Tamina to retain the Divas Championship. Good action for a Diva's match. Tamina told the crowd to shut up often. She got some decent heat for it. Tamina missed a Superfly Splash and Kaitlyn followed up with a spear for the win.

4. Kofi Kingston and Chris Jericho defeated Dolph Ziggler and Big E Langston. The crowd got to vote whether or not AJ could stay at ringside. Fortunately she was voted to stay. Kofi caught Dolph's t-shirt and threw it into the crowd. The kid next to me caught it, cool moment. Dolph then called us marks. Jericho was way over. Finish came when Dolph tapped to the Liontamer.

Intermission

5. Ted DiBiase defeated Drew McIntyre. Once again good heat for 3MB. Lots of USA chants throughout the match. Ted won with the Dream Street

6. Antonio Cesaro defeated Santino Marella to retain the United States Championship. Cesaro cut a pre-match promo bashing the people of Salisbury, I agreed with him. Good pop for Santino. They worked a good comedy match that was a little slow at times. Cesaro hit Santino with the Neutralizer to retain the gold.

7. John Cena, Sheamus, and Ryback defeated The Shield by DQ. Seth Rollins hit Ryback with a chair. Great six-man tag match. Seeing the former Tyler Black and Jon Moxley live was surreal to me and looking for them in the crowd during their entrance was awesome. Salisbury leaned a little more pro Cena.

After the match Cena invited a stage hand whose birthday was today into the ring. Ryback sang happy birthday to her. Afterwards the faces and she sprayed each other with beer.

All in all a good show and was better than I hoped for my first house show. No return date was announced.
