WWE Live Event
Columbus, Ohio
Report by Dot Net reader Ron Hall

The house was about 80 percent full. The show opened with a promo about the Ultimate Warrior going into the Hall and a tribute to Mae Young. Justin Roberts announced Ohio State head coach Urban Meyer was in attendance and in the front row. Meyer got more cheers than some of the wrestlers. A pre tapped promo of Randy Orton talking about his match with John Cena played.

1. The Prime Time Players beat Ryback and Curtis Axel. The Prime Time Players won when Darren Young pinned Axel after a sit out power bomb. Ryback got a lot of cheers despite being a heel along with some Goldberg and "feed me more" chants.

2. Alicia Fox beat Aksana. Fox won with a roll up. This was a fan vote which we were to choose from a diva dance off or a traditional match. The match won - 51%. The crowd wasn't all that into it because they weren't too familiar with Aksana.

3. Xavier Woods beat Brodus Clay. Surprisingly quick match with Woods winning with a rollup after he pulled Clay off the top rope. Brodus had new music.

4. Goldust and Cody Rhodes beat The Real Americans (w/Zeb Colter) to retain the WWE Tag Team Championship. Zeb did the heel promo before the match ripping the Buckeyes. Someone in my section shouted "We love you Dutch."  The Rhodes Brothers won when Cody pinned Swagger after CrossRhodes. Cesaro got the giant swing on Dustin, Cody hit a moonsalt on Jack, Dustin surprised everyone with a Frankensteiner.

Intermission came with a cheap merchandise plug and no announcements of a return date.

Brad Maddox came out and said that Big Show was unable to make it due to travel issues? He continued by saying as GM he is the most powerful member of Raw's management team (insinuating Kane is No. 2), he informed Kane that he had replacement opponents.

5. Erick Rowen and Luke Harper defeated Kane in a handicap match. Rowen (I think) pinned Kane after a double team splash move. I was disappointed that Daniel Bryan and Bray Wyatt weren't there.

6. Alberto Del Rio defeated Sin Cara. Alberto won with the cross arm breaker submission. Someone asked who the new guy playing Sin Cara was.

7. John Cena defeated Randy Orton by DQ in a WWE World Heavyweight Championship match. Cena won by DQ when Orton gave Cena a low blow. Why this was the case after a night that had it's share of low blows was confusing. There was a "Let's go John/C.M. Punk" chant. After the match, Orton went for the skull kick, missed, and Cena dropped him with the AA to send the fans home happy.

No return date was announced, there were fans disappointed that C.M. Punk, Daniel Bryan, and A.J. Lee weren't there.

Most cheers: Cena, Kane, Ryback (surprising)
Most heat: Orton, Zeb
