12/5 WWE in Ontario, Calif.: The Miz vs. Edge vs. Wade Barrett for the WWE Championship, Kazal pins the Intercontinental Champion, Alberto Del Rio and Cody Rhodes vs. Rey Mysteiro and Kofi Kingston

My buddies and I went to the WWE show at the Citizens Bank Arena. It's about two years old and this is the first time WWE has come here.

1. Chris Masters defeated Tyler Reks. The crowd was pretty hot for the first match and was really behind Masters. I wish he had this reaction on television. Masters won with the Masterlock.

2. Drew McIntyre defeated Chavo Guerrero. Drew got the mic and said he hated everyone. Chavo then said Viva La Raza! Chavo hit the three amigos, then the frog splash, but Drew got his hand on the ropes to break the count. Drew hit the Future shock DDT for the win.

3. Alex Riley defeated Primo. A-Ri got on the mic and said Miz is the champion in case anyone didn't know yet. Riley won with his finisher (not sure what it's called). As Primo was walking back, he was jumped by Heath Slater and Justin Gabriel.

4. The Nexus (Slater and Gabriel) defeated Santino Marella and Vladimir Kozlov to retain the WWE Tag Team Championship. Before the match, the Raw GM chime sounded and said there must be a dance off. Santino and Kozlov did their moves, but were knocked from behind by Nexus. Nexus controlled Kozlov for most of the match before Santino got the hot tag. Santino hit the Cobra on Slater, but Gabriel broke the pin. Gabriel got the tag and then hit the 450 on Santino for the win.

5. Kaval defeated Dolph Ziggler in a non-title match. It was announced as an IC title match, but Dolph said that he just spoke to Vickie Guerrero and said his title won't be on the line. Great back and forth action. Kaval won with a roll up.

There was an intermission. Justin Roberts announced Raw will be in Anaheim on Monday February 14.

6. Natalya defeated Layla to retain WWE Diva's Championship. Actually a pretty good match. Layla brought a work out ball in the ring and was doing exercises once the bell rang. No one seemed to complain. Natalya won with the Sharpshooter.

7. Rey Mysterio and Kofi Kingston defeated Alberto Del Rio and "Dashing" Cody Rhodes. Alberto was on the mic saying how Ontario is nothing but a town of fake Mexicans. Funny. Rey came out to a HUGE ovation. Alberto avoided Rey to start the match. Cody and Alberto dominated Rey in their corner until Rey could tag in Kofi. Kofi came in and hit several top rope moves. Rey got the pin after a 619 on Cody.

8. The Miz (w/Alex Riley) defeated Edge and Wade Barrett in a Triple Threat to retain the WWE Championship. Miz came out with Riley and cut a promo about proving everyone wrong and becoming WWE Champion. He wanted silence as he said his catchphrase, but he was cut off by Edge's music. Edge and Miz went at it before Barrett ran down to the ring. Miz knocked Edge out of the ring then hit the Skull Crushing Finale on Barrett for the win.

After the match, Riley held up Edge so Miz could hit him with the belt. Edge ducked and Miz nailed Riley, then Edge hit the spear on Miz. Edge got on the mic saying how Miz is just copying him as WWE Champion. He said the only thing he's missing is a live sex celebration, but since he doesn't have Lita he can just have one with Alex Riley. Funny. Edge walked around the ring and shook hands for a while before he walked to the back.

It was a fun show and good to see WWE get to some new places as the WWE is very popular here in southern California.
