WWE SuperShow live event
North Charleston SC at the North Charleston Coliseum

The arena was about half full. I was surrounded by a bunch of eight year old Cena fans who didn't like my C.M. Punk t-shirt.

1. Air Boom defeated Michael McGillicuty and David Otunga in 12 minutes to retain the WWE Tag Titles. Great back and forth match that got the crowd really involved. Otunga and McGillicuty are really improving in the ring and showed some great chemistry. Air Boom won after Kofi hit trouble in paradise and Evan Bourne hit the Air Bourne on McGillicuty.

2. Justin Gabriel beat Heath Slater by pinfall in six minutes. Gabriel won with a sunset flip out of the corner after Slater broke up his attempt at the 450. I was pretty disappointed to not see Gabriel do this live.

Dolph Ziggler came out and cut a promo about how good he is. He drew some mega heat despite the fact that Vickie Guerrero wasn't there. He was also wearing a Zack Ryder "Broski" shirt and said he would keep the U.S. title forever. Pretty funny.

3. Alex Riley beat Dolph Ziggler by DQ in a US title match at 12 minutes. Ziggler avoided Riley for the first 3 minutes of the match until he used a distraction to attack him. Ziggler was in control pretty much the whole time until Riley came back at about 10 minutes. Riley set up for his finisher and Swagger ran in to cause the DQ. Ziggler and Swagger beat down Riley until Mason Ryan ran in for the save. The heals bailed and Riley challenged them to a tag match.

4. Mason Ryan and Alex Riley beat Dolph Ziggler and Jack Swagger in seven minutes. Ryan pinned Swagger after a full nelson slam. Ziggler never tagged in to the match. Ryan looks terrible in the ring and was only in for about two minutes with Riley carrying most of the match.

Wade Barrett cut a promo about the Barrett Barrage and told Orton if he came out tonight he wouldn't make it to TLC.

5. Randy Orton beat Wade Barrett in a street fight in nine minutes. Orton got the biggest pop of the night so far. Good back and forth street fight involving a chair and a kendo stick. Orton won with the RKO.

Obligatory dance contest where a kid wins and gets to go backstage.

Intermission

6. Beth Phoenix (w/Natalya) beat Eve in ten minutes to retain the WWE Divas Title. Beth won with the Glam Slam after a distraction from Natalya. A pretty good match where the divas got some time to show what they can do. This match was surprisingly entertaining.

Cody Rhodes came out and cut a promo against Charleston and generated a good amount of cheap heat. Ted DiBiase came to the ring and cut a promo to a weak pop only after introducing a member of the National Guard.

7. Cody Rhodes beat Ted DiBiase by pinfall to retain the Intercontinental title in nine minutes. This was the longest nine minutes of my life. Really boring match that had Cody win clean with the Cross Rhodes.

8. CM Punk beat Alberto Del Rio and John Cena in a Triple Threat in 17 minutes to retain the WWE Title. Punk and Cena played keep away with Del Rio's scarf for a while. It was really funny as it ended with Cena blowing his nose into and throwing in Del Rio's face and punching him. Cena and Punk proceeded to team up on Del Rio for a while before finally facing each other once Del Rio was out of the ring. CM Punk won after a GTS on Del Rio. Cena was distracted by Ricardo Rodriguez.

Following the match the faces beat up Rich Rod and celebrated in the ring.

Best Heat:
1. Dolph Ziggler
2. Wade Barrett
3. Otunga and McGillicuty

Biggest Pop
1. Cena
2. Punk
3. Orton
Air Boom got a nice pop too.
