[Q1] The show began immediately with The Dirt Sheet. Miz and Morrison had their Slammy Awards in front of them. They joked about giving everyone in the audience a car. They pimped themselves and listed their New Year's resolutions. They simultaneously said they would win the Royal Rumble and go onto Wrestlemania. They joked with each other for a moment before moving on to other superstars.

They made fun of Evan Bourne, Triple H, John Cena, Finlay, and Hornswoggle. They joked about Hornswoggle and how leprechauns do not live very long. Finlay and Hornswoggle came to the ring. Horny cut a "promo" that was mindless screaming. Finlay attacked Morrison but the numbers game worked against him. Horny went to the floor and The Boogeyman appeared. He ran off the tag champs...

Twill's Two Cents: Poor Finlay.

Todd Grisham and Matt Striker announced the Matt Hardy vs. Mark Henry match would take place next... [C]

1. Matt Hardy defeated Mark Henry (with Tony Atlas) by disqualification in a non-title match in 10:05. The match began very slowly with Henry displaying his power and Hardy doing his best to figure out an offensive opening.

[Q2] There was an awkward spot where both men looked like they were going for closelines but it seemed as if only one of them should have. Atlas distracted Hardy for a moment, which allowed Henry to hit a running splash to Hardy's back. He followed with a miniature bonsai drop from the bottom rope for a two count... [C]

Back from commercial, Henry was working on the lower back and rib section of Hardy with power forearms and boots. Henry locked in a reverse bearhug. With Hardy lying on the bottom rope, Henry slingshot him into the middle rope for a two count. Hardy came back with a dropkick, two middle rope elbows, and a side effect for a nearfall.

All of a sudden, Jack Swagger appeared and laid out Hardy with a gutwrench powerbomb. The referee disqualified Henry and he was not happy about it. Swagger briefly looked at Henry before walking to the back. Henry hit a World's Strongest Slam on Hardy for good measure...

Twill's Two Cents: The match was decent, but I loved the intrigue of Swagger and Henry being involved in an on screen program together.

Striker announced a no disqualification tag team match pitting Miz and Morrison against Finlay and The Boogeyman... [C]

A Kizarny vignette aired with him doing a bunch of freaky shit. You can see him on Smackdown this Friday night...

[Q3] 2. DJ Gabriel (with Alicia Fox) defeated Paul Burchill (with Katie Lea) in 5:31. DJ impressed early on but Burchill scored some decent offense as well. In fact, he dominated for a good two plus minutes and scored several nearfalls. DJ went for his finisher but Burchill violently pulled him back into the ring. DJ scored the surprise pinfall with a flip through pin... [C]

Twill's Two Cents: The crowd was dead but this was surprisingly good. I figured Gabriel would go over without much of a challenge, but the finish kept Burchill looking strong, so it looks as if they will be feuding.

Footage aired of Kennedy's new movie...

The Boogeyman was backstage and was joined by Hornswoggle. Boogey said something about leprechauns and hummed the theme to "Smurfs." ...

Footage aired of the fatal fourway last night and the finish with Shawn Michaels allowing JBL to pin him. The footage was accompanied with shots of Michaels as champion back in the 90s and current shots of his wife... [C]
