WWE Superstars on WWE.com
Taped earlier in Toronto and Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.

1. Ezekiel Jackson defeated Tyson Kidd in 3:00. Jackson absolutely dominated the match with Tyson getting brief spits of offense that were quickly thwarted by the big man.

Eventually, Kidd managed to gain some momentum after taking out the legs of Jackson. This was also only momentary as Tyson tried to go to the top rope but Jackson cut him off before he could take flight. Jackson dragged Kidd off the ropes and applied the Torture rack. In seconds, Tyson tapped out... [C]

Ryan's Rant: Typical Jackson match. Kidd can work well with a good hand, but he's not been proven capable of carrying a match, which is what anyone has to do when they get in the ring with Jackson. This match wasn't good, but it only lasted three minutes so it was at least over with quickly.

2. Brodus Clay squashed Mike Palmer in 1:38. Brodus made Palmer come to him to start the match. He then proceeded to eat him alive.

Brodus worked a similar set to all of the squashes we've seen from him. This week's new move was a simple belly-to-belly suplex. He finished palmer off with the Fall of Humanity.

Post-match, Brodus posed in the ring while Jack Korpela put him over as the Mastadon of Mayhem… [C]

Ryan's Rant: I have been enjoying everything Brodus has given us the past few weeks, but the squashes are starting to bleed together. Brodus has been doing a great job and he needs to start being utilized on Smackdown so he can get over with the WWE audience.

The Uso brothers appeared on stage to perform their Haka. Johnny Curtis and Trent Barreta made their entrance next. Their motivation for teaming together is that their girlfriends are best friends, according to Matt Striker. The announcers put over the growing tag division.

3. The Uso Brothers defeated Johnny Curtis and Trent Barreta in 5:08. Trent started the match with Jimmy Uso. Curtis quickly blind tagged into the match and took control.

Curtis locked in a rest hold and the crowd rallied behind the Jimmy. The Uso broke free and Trent tagged into the match. Barreta and Curtis continued to work quick tags to prevent Jimmy from making it to his corner.

Jimmy eventually got the hot tag to Jay, who came in and worked his Samoan move set on Trent. He finished with a wrecking ball and went for the pin but Curtis broke the count. Trent went for his corkscrew moonsault kick, but Jay rolled out of the way. Jay tagged Jimmy back into the match, and Jimmy hit the Superfly Splash for the win… [C]

Ryan's Rant: Pretty good action throughout, but the match wasn't long enough for the hot tag to mean anything, and the crowd sat on their hands when it happened. It's a shame, as Jimmy had a decent reaction when he was trying to fight out of the rest holds. I'm not sold on the Curtis/Barreta team yet, but they showed some chemistry. I'm just glad to hear the announcers hyping the tag division.

Back from commercial, a video package aired that covered the C.M. Punk/Triple H feud. The announcers ran through the Night of Champions card. Zack Ryder made his entrance… [C]

Back from commercial, Drew made his entrance for the main event.

4. Zack Ryder defeated Drew McIntyre in 13:11. Drew backed Ryder into a corner to start and yelled in his face. The crowd started chanting for Ryder.

The early going was all McIntyre. Ryder got some shots in but Drew never really lost control. After a time, Ryder worked some Japanese arm drags and threw some punches on Drew in the corner, but Drew reversed that into a sky high powerbomb for a great near fall.

McIntyre followed up with a snap suplex and immediately applied a rest hold to get the crowd behind Ryder.

The crowd's efforts were successful as Ryder exploded with a flurry of offense. He hit a flapjack and got a two-count. Ryder then hit the Broski boot and set up for the Rough Ryder. McIntyre rolled out of the ring to avoid the move and the show went to break... [C]

Back from commercial, Drew clubbed Ryder's back and dropped him to the mat. McIntyre hit a sickening hangman's neckbreaker on Ryder in the ropes. Drew fell to the outside while Ryder's neck was hyperextended.

Back in the ring, Drew scored a two-count and went back to the same rest hold he used before the break. Ryder battled back and went for a roll-up. Drew kicked out and floored Ryder with a clothesline. Drew followed up with a curb stomp and got another near fall.

Drew went to the same hold for the third time in the match and Ryder once again battled out, only to be hit with a big boot from McIntyre. Drew signaled for the Future Shock, but Ryder fought back.

Drew regained control and used the same rest hold for a fourth time, which Ryder immediately battled out of. Drew once again went for the Future Shock only to have Ryder reverse it and follow up with the Rough Ryder for the win.

Ryan's Rant: McIntyre looked like a one-note fool constantly going to the same hold, only to have Ryder battle out of it quicker each time. It's a shame that that would happen as McIntyre did most of the leg work in that match while Ryder sold like a champ. If they took out a few rest hold battle spots, this match would have been better, but the crowd seemed to give up the moment Drew locked it in the third time. This match, while long, didn't feel like it needed to be. I'm all for longer matches, but I don't want arbitrary things like rest holds extending the time and killing the crowd.

Overall, this show was ok. There were some fun spots here and there, but there was nothing overly exciting. There was nothing overtly terrible like we used to get, but the show is just kind of there. Thanks for reading.
