Taped on Monday and Tuesday in San Antonio and Corpus Christie, Texas

Jack Korpela and Matt Striker welcomed us to ringside as Tyson Kidd and Yoshi Tatsu made their entrances. The announcers hyped the main event for the evening, Evan Bourne vs. Drew McIntyre.

Michael Hayes cut a promo about Corpus Christie and the history he had with the area. He punked the audience for having no lives and compared them to Tatsu. He then put over Tyson and his "ambition". The ref ended up interrupting him and telling them they had a match to start. Michael distracted the ref and Tyson jumped Tatsu.

1. Yoshi Tatsu defeated Tyson Kidd (w/Michael Hayes)in 9:58. Kidd went right to work with a suplex and a series of kicks. Tyson worked over Tatsu in the corner and followed up with a neckbreaker. The announcers kept referring to Hayes as an "advisor."

Tatsu came back with a dropkick and threw Tyson to the outside and performed a dive to the outside. Kidd caught him on the way back in and threw him into the barricade. Hayes got on the apron and did a moonwalk as the show went to break… [C]

Back from commercial, Kidd had Tatsu in a rest hold. Kidd choked Tatsu on the ropes while Hayes distracted the ref. Kidd blasted Tatsu with a kick to the face and got a great near fall. Kidd worked a series of rest holds while Hayes tried to convince the ref that Tatsu tapped.

Tatsu hit a flurry of offense on Kidd and nailed him with a shining wizard kick for a two count. Tatsu went to the top and Kidd cut him off. Kidd hit a huge superplex on Tatsu and got a two count. Tyson Kidd locked in a sharpshooter but Tatsu was able to get to the ropes. Kidd tried to hit a leg drop onto Tatsu and missed. The two traded roll-up attempts and Tatsu hit a Buzzsaw kick out of nowhere for the victory.

After the match, Hayes stood Tyson up and slapped the taste out of his mouth… [C]

Ryan's Rant: Shades of Tajiri with that kick. That is an excellent finisher for Yoshi, and he should really implement it from now on. Anything beats that top rope spin kick he's used before. Tyson went right back to his boring rest hold-based offense this week, and I was looking forward to the finish. Tatsu has potential, but he needs WWE to get behind him before he can be a success. I hope that slap doesn't mean the Hayes-Kidd team is over already. Tyson already lost his body guard; he doesn’t need to lose his manager.

Santino and Kozlov made their entrances as Scott Stanford and Josh Matthews checked in at ringside. Zack Ryder and Curt Hawkins, the Major Browskis, then made their entrances to Zack Ryder's music. Scott talked about how the pair is the youngest tag team champions in WWE history.

2. Santino Marella and Vladimir Kozlov beat Zack Ryder and Curt Hawkins in 5:31 Ryder and Santino started and Ryder dominated in the early going. Santino threatened the Cobra and Ryder tagged in Hawkins, who called Santino a comedy act. Kozlov tagged in and started working over Hawkins with some amateur wrestling maneuvers. The show then went to break… [C]

Back from commercial, Kozlov was demolishing Ryder until Ryder caught Kozlov with a hot shot. Hawkins tagged in and took advantage of the downed Kozlov. The duo made rapid fire tags and hit an awesome looking STO/Inverted STO move on Kozlov.

Kozlov tried to make it to the corner but the heels kept him at bay. Ryder taunted the crowd to some rather impressive heat. Finally, Kozlov got the hot tag to Santino who worked his comedic offense on Hawkins. Ryder entered the match just to eat a spinebuster form Kozlov. Santino hit the Cobra on Hawkins to get the win.

Evan Bourne made his entrance… [C]

Ryan's Rant: Well, that was good right up until the end. Ryder and Hawkins have a ton of chemistry together, and they showed how great hell tag work can be at getting a crowd into the action. The series where they made rapid tags and ended with Ryder taunting the crowd was great. I hope these guys can get in a program with the tag champs soon and get on the main show. The two showed that they can make working over a bigger opponent believable, and I think that's just the ticket to getting them over.

Drew McIntyre made his entrance.

3. Drew McIntyre beat Evan Bourne in 6:27 Drew and Bourne started off working a series of chain wrestling combos and wrestled for control. Eventually, Drew ended up on the outside and showed his frustration by beating on the announce table. Back in the ring, Bourne hit a huracarana. Moments later, Drew blasted him with a clothesline to take control going into the break... [C]

Back from commercial, Drew continued to work over Bourne with a series of stiff kicks. Drew pout Bourne on the top rope and hit a stall superplex. Wow. Drew only got a two count of the move and he looked absolutely flustered as Evan tried to recover from the maneuver. Drew took Evan to the apron and tried to ram Bourne into the steel ring post but Bourne reversed and sent drew head-first into the steel steps.

Bourne worked over Drew's legs with kicks and nearly pinned him after a stiff kick to the temple. Bourne hit a running dropkick into the corner and went for Airbourne, but drew rolled to ringside. Back in the ring, Bourne tried to huracarana Drew, but Drew caught him and reversed it into a turnbuckle powerbomb. As Bourne staggered from the corner, drew locked Bourne's arms and hit the Future Shock DDT for the 1-2-3.

Ryan's Rant: That was an awesome, awesome match. The pacing was great, and the wrestler told a great story in the ring. The ending series with the buckle bomb into a Future Shock was excellent, and I hope we see it again. Overall, this show was about average. The first match was a bore, the tag match was better but had a bad finish, and the show ended with an excellent match. Thank you for following along with me and I’ll see you all next week.
