The opening video aired and Josh Matthews and William Regal tossed it up to Maryse. No Matt Striker or Todd Grisham tonight. Maryse introduced the rookies and then explained the tug of war challenge and said it was worth two points.

Byron Saxton and Connor O'Brian were first. Byron lost and bounced off the ramp to the ramp and everyone laughed. Jacob Novak and Darren Young were next. They tied and went to the video and Jacob Novak won. Lucky Cannon and Titus O'Neil were next. Titus was DQed for reaching past the middle part of the rope.

Cannon was Maryse's pick for who was most obnoxious so he got the bye. Novak beat O'Brian, and Cannon shoved Novak to get DQed. Novak earned two Redemption points as Lucky ran away. Novak took his robe and went to the back with Cannon giving chase…The trailer for "That's What I Am," aired…

Shore’s Slant: Wow, that sucked. I mean that was really bad. It was simply beyond words terrible.

JTG and Novak were in the ring and JTG gave him a hood introduction. Novak said after being in the UK for a few days, he realized how great it was to be from America. He ran down England and put over the US. He pointed out Regal and the crowd popped.

Novak all he had been doing was talking. He asked Regal why he didn't stand up and fight for his country right now. Conor O'Brian and Vladimir Kozlov came out. Conor said if Novak wanted to fight, all he had to do was ask. He said actions speak louder than words, and his actions would make Novak shut up…

1. Conor O'Brian (w/Vladimir Kozlov) defeated Jacob Novak (w/JTG) in3:00. Regal ran down Novak and JTG. Novak hit a slam on Conor and talked smack to Regal. Conor O'Brian won with a small package. JTG was upset and talking to Novak after the match.

Novak went to the floor and slammed his hands on the announce table. Regal stood up and Novak shoved him. Regal slammed the headset off and went after Novak. JTG stepped in between them and ran Novak off. Regal made a cut throat type move at Novak…[C]

Shore’s Slant: NXT is getting like, real storylines. I'm kind of impressed. Wrestling is virtually non-existent, but this is the way to find your next star seeing as how you don't want to wrestle anymore.

The Raw Rebound was the R-Truth heel turn…Backstage, Byron Saxton told Yoshit Tatsu to take it easy and not get his feelings hurt. Yoshi thanked him for his advice, but he was fine. Maryse walked up and they flirted. She asked him to go shopping with her. He said yes and she kissed his cheek.

Yoshi JIZZED IN HIS PANTS and and rubbed his cheek as she left. Saxton looked at the camera and talked to him about their match, but Yoshi was JIZZED IN HIS PANTS…[C]

Shore’s Slant: Well, it was kind of funny. Just a little bit. Saxton made it funny at least.

Hornswoggle and Titus O'Neil made their entrance. Darren Young and Chavo were in the ring. Chavo started giving advice, and Young said he could beat Hornswoggle but Chavo couldn't. Chavo had Young admit he said he could beat Hornswoggle blind folded and one arm tied behind his back…

2. Hornswoggle (w/Titus O'Neil) defeated Darren Young (w/Chavo Guerrero) with Young blindfolded and one arm tied behind his back at 1:38. Young cheated and peeked and kicked Horny. He carried him to the top, but Hornswoggle head-butted him away and hit the tadpole splash for the win…

Shore's Slant: I don't mind WWE doing this because the fans cheer for it. But I hate all of you fans who cheered for it.

Ring introductions occurred and Maryse sat at ringside and said she was with Yoshi…

3. Tyson Kidd and Lucky Cannon defeated Yoshi Tatsu (w/Maryse) and Byron Saxton at 11:55. Saxton and Cannon started. Cannon demanded Yoshi but Saxton argued. Every time they hooked up, Cannon shoved away and demanded Yoshi. Saxton finally tagged Yoshi in and he hit three kicks. Cannon quickly tagged out.

The pros put on a clinic with Tatsu getting the best. Saxton tagged in clotheslined Kidd over the top rope…The new "Amazing Kong" video aired…

Shore's Slant: For those who haven't heard, it looks like she will be called Kharma.

Back from commercial, Cannon worked a figure four leg lock as a video showed Kidd hitting a sick kick on Saxton as Cannon distracted him. Saxton made the ropes and Kidd tagged in. Cannon kept yelling things at Maryse like, "That was for you," whenever he or Kidd did something to Saxton.

Cannon beat Saxton up and whipped him to the corner. Saxton bounced out and they butted heads. Both men made hot tags and Yoshi worked a house of fire and hit a kick for two. Yoshi hit the shining wizard for two. Cannon went over and started hitting Maryse and Yoshi yelled at him. He went for a kick, but Kidd ducked and hit a swinging neck breaker for the win. The show ended abruptly with the heels walking away…

Shore's Slant: Good match to close NXT with. That was a very well wrestled main event and I'm digging the Maryse drama. I hate to say it, but if they would just get rid of the stupid challenges. This might be a good show. I'll have more to say tomorrow in the hitlist. Thanks for reading and I'll see you then.
