A video recapped the Lucky Cannon/Yoshi Tatsu/Ted Dibiase/Maryse storyline. The opening video aired and Todd Grisham and William Regal tossed it up to Matt Striker who introduced Maryse. Maryse came out to the ramp and asked her what her choice was. She said she had many millionaires before Ted, and many after. She said if she had to choose, she chose NXT…

The rookies were introduced, and the redemption points standing that showed Titus O'Neill with nine, Darren Young with seven, Byron Saxton with four, and the rest with none. They introduced the punch challenge. Saxton went first and scored 649.

Maryse asked Jacob Novak to be a man and he scored a 456 as Regal said he wouldn't break the skin on rice pudding. Young scored a 469 as Maryse punked him. Conor O'Brian scored a 770. Titus O'Neill rocked the machine and scored am 801. Lucky Cannon refused to compete and was disqualified. O'Neill scored the four points and leads with 13.

Striker started to interview Titus, but Cannon snatched the mic away and said the show was about him and hit on Maryse. Yoshi Tatsu's music hit and he came out. Cannon challenged him to the main event match and Tatsu accepted. Cannon invited Maryse to be at ringside because she didn’t want to miss it…

The trailer for the new WWE movie "That's What I Am" with Randy Orton aired…

Shore’s Slant: Titus is a beast. I couldn't believe Saxton was third though. The Cannon/Tatsu feud is a little lame, but at least it's a story.

Titus O'Neill and Hornswoggle made their ring entrance. Darren Young and Chavo Guerrero were out next. Young had a mic and took Hornswoggle to task for interfering in his matches. He said the ring was for full grown men, not pint sized leprechauns…

1. Titus O'Neill (w/Hornswoggle) defeated Darren Young (w/Chavo Guerrero) at 2:38. Young took early control and worked Titus around the ring. He slammed Titus into the turnbuckle and turned on Horny. Titus hooked him with a school boy rollup for the surprise win. Post-match, Young attacked Titus and hit a gut buster on him. He grabbed Hornswoggle, but Chavo talked him down and they left the ring…[C]

Shore’s Slant: It was a two minute match, but I appreciate the little story they have going on.

JTG came to the ring and introduced Jacob Novak who was dressed up like Slam Master J, only not as cool. He took a mic and said that there were people who were better than JTG to be his pro. He called out William Regal and saod he would show him what a being star is all about. Regal said the last thing Novak wanted was for him to get in the ring and make him a vegetable…[C]

2. Jacob Novak (w/JTG) defeated Byron Saxton (w/Yoshi Tatsu) at 3:41. Saxton started out in control and clotheslined Novak over the top. Novak fought back as he climbed in the ring. Novak won with three straight kicks with his new Timberland boots…

Shore’s Slant: My video is freezing again, but it stopped at the end of that match so I saw the end. I like how NXT is finally getting some storylines like a brand. This isn't Tough Enough, and they really should make it more of a typical WWE show for that reason.

William Regal setup the Edge retirement video replay by thanking Edge for being a great competitor over the years, and then Grisham hyped Edge's appearance on Smackdown this Friday…

Maryse joined the announce team and she did something, but my f-ing video is acting stupid again. I have no idea what is wrong…

3. Yoshi Tatsu defeated Lucky Cannon in 2:00. My feed froze completely and I picked it up in progress. Cannon was attacking Tatsu on the floor in front of Maryse and yelled at Tatsu that she was his. Tatsu shoved Cannon into the post and rolled him in the ring. He hit a kick and then a spinning heel kick from the top for the win.

As soon as the match was over, Maryse ran into the ring and teased Cannon by saying, "Not so lucky today." She turned around and planted one on Yoshi in the middle of the ring. Yoshi JIZZED IN HIS PANTS while Maryse walked up the ramp and Cannon looked pissed…

Shore’s Slant: OK, it was a shitty little match, but I loved the ending. The crowd popped big for the kiss, and Tatsu sold it like I would have in real life. I hate to say it, but this edition of NXT didn't completely suck. Either that or they have addled my brain. I’ll have more to say tomorrow on the hitlist. Thanks for reading and I'll see you then.
