Taped earlier in Kansas City, Missouri.

The opening video aired and Todd Grisham and William Regal checked in on commentary. They tossed it up to Maryse and Matt Striker who introduced the rookies and pros. The rookies came to the ring and the pros sat on the stage.

Maryse said that not only would the winner get a spot on Season 6, but they would also be able to choose their pro for that season. Striker announced the Talk the Talk challenge. They had 45 second to talk about themselves.

Jacob Novak wrapped and JTG shouted out and the crowd booed them both. Regal said he wanted to punch him in the mouth. Darren Young climbed out of the ring and cut his promo on the floor and said he would steal the competition.

Connor O'Brian said he wanted to be real and said he had a big dream and got lucky. Regal punked him by sniffling and teasing crying. Byron Saxton said he had a hamster and did not get his wardrobe from the Lady Gaga school of excellence, referring to Lucky Cannon's robe. Cannon said he had Adonis DNA and that it was all about him.

Titus O'Neil cut his promo while Maryse gave Cannon the hand again. O'Neil said this was his season and he recapped a conversation he had with Hornswoggle by talking like Horny. He ran long and Maryse snatched the mic from his hand. The crowd picked Titus O'Neil and he won two redemption points…[C]

Shore’s Slant: So much for them taking this serious this season. This was terrible, and nobody stood out. Cannon sounded the most comfortable, but nobody cared and Titus won because of Hornswoggle.

A Titus O'Neil hype video aired…

1. Darren Young (w/Chavo Guerrero) defeated Connor O'Brian (w/Vladimir Kozlov) in 2:00. My video is desyncing from my audio so I'm getting this in chunks. Connor worked an arm bar to start. Young hit a clothesline to come back and followed with a fireman's carry into a gut buster for the win…The announce team hyped the St. Patrick's Day keg carry for later…[C]

Shore’s Slant: Wow, two minutes and that was with the video pausing for like 20 seconds. This show is beyond bad. Nobody looks good in a two minute match.

The Raw Rebound video was the John Cena vs. Alberto Del Rio match and subsequent Miz beat down…Backstage, Yoshi walked up to Maryse and my feed cut. When it came back, Maryse forgave Lucky Cannon and walked off. Cannon told Yoshi he would never have Maryse because he wasn't "lucky"…

Shore’s Slant: I don't know if WWE.com is the problem or if my Internet is in active revolt over carrying this garbage. Either is legitimately possible.

A Jacob Novak video aired…

2. Tyson Kidd and Lucky Cannon defeated Yoshi Tatsu and Byron Saxton at 4:09. The pros started as the announce team pointed out the black arm band Yoshi was wearing for the tragedy in Japan. Kidd took a shot at Saxton to distract the ref and Cannon kicked Yoshi to allow the heels to take control.

Cannon tagged in and worked a body scissor on Yoshi, using the ropes for more leverage. Tatsu elbowed out and both men hit clotheslines on each other and then made double tags. Saxton was a house of fire and hit a face plant for two. Kidd hit a kick to come back and Cannon tagged himself in and hit a reverse AA type move for the win. Post-match, Kidd chewed Cannon out over tagging himself in…[C]

Shore’s Slant: Not a bad match, but kind of boring. I like the character from Cannon with the tag, but this show is so bad it won't matter in the end. Not to mention I seem to be the only person watching.

A video recapped Snooki's time on Raw. No, I don't know why…[C] The St. Patrick's Day keg carry was next. They showed a video that showed Titus O'Neil falling in season two. Maryse begged him not to fall this time. Novak went first and scored 9.9 seconds.

Young scored 9.8 seconds. O'Brian scored 9.4 seconds. Saxton 9.5 seconds. Cannon, who Maryse called Fabio, said he shouldn't have any problems since he won last time. When Striker said go, Cannon shook his head and said he wanted to recite a poem.

He said something in French to Maryse who said she wanted to go throw up. He touched her hair and she told him to touch it again. He did and she slapped the shit out of him. They sent him to the back and Titus O'Neil finally got his chance as the crowd cheered. O'Neil scored 9.1 to win the challenge and two redemption points…

Shore’s Slant: Congrats to Titus O'Neil for not falling down. I do like the Lucky Cannon thing he's been doing with the challenges, but even my wife wants to kick Jason's ass for making me cover this now. I'll have more to say tomorrow on the shit…er, hitlist.
