Edge said that past month, playing with Kane and Paul Bearer was very bizarre. Footage was shown of the tomfoolery of an abduction...

Mind of Marv: This is already feeling like a bad night, sigh...

Edge laughed at himself and said if we can forget that it happened, it would be great. Edge said that he’s known Kane for twelve years and he’s evil. He talked about Kane terrorizing the entire SD roster for Taker beatdown and how he used Paul Bearer. Edge said it was time to face Kane at his own game and he asked the crowd if he went too far. Edge said that he is in Kane’s head and the master of the mindgames has been one upped and at TLC he will face Kane in his match, TLC...

He said at the end, he will set a ladder up and climb it and become a 10 time world heavyweight champion...

Mind of Marv: Basic promo by Edge, but not a bad start to the show...

Footage of The Miz’s appearance on the Jimmy Fallon show earlier this week and The Miz will face Rey Mysterio tonight...[C]

Mind of Marv: No hype for this match on Raw or Superstars??? How do you bring the WWE Champion to SD and not hype the fact that he is on this show?

Kofi, Swagger and Dolph will be in a triple threat match for the Intercontinental title at TLC...

[Q2] 1. Kofi Kingston and Kaval beat Intercontinental Champion Dolph Ziggler and Jack Swagger in 11:00. Swagger and Kaval started the matchp and Swagger worked on Kaval in the corner. Kaval hit a nice spinning heel kick to Swagger for a nearfall. Kaval kicked and hit a hurracrana to Swagger outside of the ring. Kaval and Kofi hit suicide dives on both heels...[C]

The show returned with Swagger applying a rear armbar to Kaval in the middle of the ring. Both heels worked on Kaval with kicks and elbows. Dolph applied a rear chin lock to Kaval and the heels continued the attack. Swagger splashed on Kaval for nearfall. Swagger went for a throw but he botched it and Kaval was inches away from tagging Kofi. Both heels used to ropes to choke out Kaval and Swagger went for the Gutwrench but Kaval double stomped Swagger.

Kofi hit his instant offense and the Boom drop on Dolph. Kofi missed the TIP but he hit the SOS for a nearfall because Swagger broke the count. Kofi connected the sick ass Trouble in Paradise on Dolph for the win...

Post match, Swagger knocker out Dolph and Vickie went on to bitch to Swagger as he walked off...

Mind of Marv: Fun match to kick the show off and this triple threat match maybe the sleeper match of the PPV. Good show so far...

[Q3] Jack Korpela interviewed The Miz and he said that he faces Rey Mysterio and The Miz taunted Korpela. The Miz bragged about his big ass week and Riley killed the promo by being lame as hell. Miz said that he is putting Orton through a table and he said that he was AWESOME...[C]

ST8 out of Brooklyn was shown as a new show for JTG. JTG ripped Sheamus, Miz, Del Rio and Justin Bieber in this lame ass segment...

Mind of Marv: So this is supposed to be the replacement for the old Word Up? Weak.

2. “Dashing” Cody Rhodes defeated Chris Masters in 1:10. There was a slap fest to begin the match and Masters got the advantage by pressing Cody. Msters chopped up Cody and Cody countered with the Cross Rhodes for the quick win...

Miz vs. Mysterio is next...[C]

[Q5] 3. WWE Champion The Miz beat Rey Mysterio in 13:25. The first minute was a stare fest until Miz shoulderblocked and clotheslined Rey for a nearfall. Rey hit a spinning hurracarana and baseball slid into Miz in the corner. Miz knocked off Rey off the top rope and stomped him in the corner. Riley got a cheap shot on Rey in the corner. Miz hit a baseball slide to Rey’s ribs for a nearfall. Miz applied a side headlock to Rey.

Rey came back with offense and setup for the 619 but Miz moved and Rey hit a sitting senton on Riley. Miz hit a big boot to Rey to the commerical break...[C]

The show returned with Miz hitting a side slam to Rey for a nearfall. Miz picked up Rey and Rey countered into a sick DDT. Both men swapped punched and Rey hit a crossbody for a nearfall. Miz ducked a kick from Rey and he stomped out Rey in the corner. Miz splashed on Rey and he went to the rope to only catch a kick from Rey. Rey hit a hurracarna from the top rope to Miz for a nearfall. Rey setup for the 619 but Del Rio came up and tripped Rey.

The Miz went for the cover but it was only a two count. Rey got up and kicked Del Rio. Rey went for the senton on the Miz but Miz countered with his knees and got the cover for the win. Post match, Del Rio attacked Rey and Edge made the save. Del Rio, Edge, Rey and The Miz all brawled in the ring.
Teddy Long announced that The Miz and Del Rio will face Edge and Rey for the main event tonight...[C]

Mind of Marv: Good match which made the Miz look strong for a change. Sure there was a lot of interference, but the Miz finally looked strong with a lot of offense in this match. If they can book him like this and get some more credible wins, then he can look like a stronger WWE champion. I’m not happy that they are throwing together a tag team match as the main event, but they have to fill this show up with something...

[Q6] The Smack of the Night was Michelle McCool winning the Diva of the Year and the Diva tag team tables match was announced. LayCool came out with their Slammys for a promo. LayCool came out to protest the tables match and they called the match barbaric. They got annoying about being a Diva and ripped the crowd for not being a “Diva”. They said that “Diva” means, FLAWLESS. They said the match is off and Nattie and Beth came out with a table wrapped in the gift wrapping present.

Nattie said that they know they are not thrilled for being in a tables match and LayCool ripped Beth and Nattie about wrestling in men’s division. Beth caught a generic promo about putting LayCool through a table and LayCool was talking about Beth being masculine. The table that was wrapped had LayCool painted on it and LayCool got irritated and attacked Beth and Nattie.

Beth and Nattie grabbed Layla and was getting ready to suplex her though the table but McCool used her chicken legs and kicked the babyfaces to save Layla.

Mind of Marv: Forgettable segment for a feud no one cares about. The Divas are just pathetic to watch because TNA’s knockouts just continues to trump them every week. This match will be the pee break match at TLC...

Santino and Kozlov is coming to the ring for a match, next...[C]

[Q7] 4. WWE Tag Team Champions Santino Marella and Vladimir Kozlov defeated Tyler Reks and Chavo Guerrero in 3:45. Santino and Reks started the match and Santino quickly tagged in Kozlov. Reks scooped slam Kozlov and stomped him. Chavo got a blind tag and dropkicked Kozlov. The babyfaces worked on Chavo and Santino missed a hedbutt to Chavo. Reks punched Santino in the throat and tagged back Chavo.

Santino punched Chavo and hit a stunner and Kozlov hit a big boot and a throw to Chavo. Kozlov knocked both heels out and Santino hit the Cobra to Chavo for the win...

Mind of Marv: The Cobra is the shittiest finisher in wrestling hands down. Santino is the reason why I rip this PG comedy bullshit because its just not funny...

The tag team main event is later tonight...[C]

Ezekeiel Jackson will be coming to Smackdown next week...

Mind of Marv: Was there some phantom trade that we weren’t aware of or did they realize that he is useless on Raw and can benefit on Smackdown?

The Raw Rebound was shown and the TLC card was run down by the announcers...

[Q8] Ricardo Rodriguez introduced Del Rio coming out to a cream Rolls Royce...[C]


5. Rey Mysterio and Edge fought WWE Champion The Miz and Alberto Del Rio to a no contest in 7:30. Edge and Miz started the match and they locked up. Edge hit a shoulderblock and hiptoss to Miz. Del Rio tagged in and kicked Edge in the gut for a nearfall. Del Rio applied a headlock to Edge and tagged in Miz. Edge slammed Rey unto Miz for a nearfall. Rey ran into the ring post and Miz hit a fallaway slam for a nearfall. Del Rio stomped on Rey’s back and covered for a nearfall.

Rey tried to come back but Del Rio tossed Rey outside of the ring like a bowling ball. Both heels worked on Rey with blows and kicks. The Miz hit a drop toe hold to Rey and threw him in the corner. Del Rio went for a schoolboy but Rey countered with a kick to the Del Rio’s head. Edge tagged in hit a flapjack to Miz. He setup for the spea but Riley was distracting and The Miz went for Skull Crushing Finale but Edge got out and threw Miz on the ropes.

Rey hit the 619 and Edge speared the Miz. Cameras cut to the back and saw people laid out and Kane came to the ring. Kane attacked Edge in the ring and the entire SD roster broke both men up. Edge got loose and attacked Kane. Kane destroyed the men around him and chokeslammed Trent Barreta. Edge speared Kane to end the show...

Mind of Marv: The Vince Russo overbooking disease has spread to the WWE, ladies and gents. This ending was not needed because Edge and Kane are not facing each other one on one anymore. Making this a fatal four way is a good and bad thing. The good thing is that we will get a title change because Kane as the champion was brutal to endure and I can see Del Rio winning this belt. The bad thing is if Kane retains, I have given up all hope for the main event picture on SD. If Mysterio wins, I will rip this shit apart and if Edge wins, we get another meaningless transitional title run until Taker comes back.

Overall, this show minus the comedy bullshit was above average but not memorable to endure or watch over the weekend.
