[Q1] The show began with a recap of Otunga bring Nexus to SD last week, getting pinned by John Cena on Raw and Barrett telling him if he doesn’t defeat Edge on SD, he will be out of Nexus. The three man team welcomed us to the show and the Edge vs. Otunga match was hyped and Big Show vs. Kane is the main event tonight. Edge came out to a huge pop from the UK crowd...

Edge said he is a busy guy and he has to start backwards. He talked about everyone having tickets for Mania 27 because he will be world champ. He said he has main evented Mania before and he plans to do so. He said he has a plan for Kane and plans to become a ten time world champion. He talked about his agenda tonight, David Otunga. He ripped Otunga about him being unemployed and leeching off his wife.

Otunga and The Nexus came out and surrounded the ring. Vickie Guerrero came out and said she had a huge announcement. Vickie said Teddy Long was detained with customs so she is in charge. Vickie said if any of the Nexus interferes, Otunga loses. She announced both main events and said that the Nexus will be lumberjacks along with the entire SD roster. Vickie said since they are in UK, Edge and Otunga should shake hands. They both hesitated and Vickie told Edge if he doesn’t shake Otunga’s hand, he will get replaced in his title match.

They shook hands and Edge speared Otunga into the entire Nexus.

Mind of Marv: The crowd was hot for the opening segment, but it did nothing for me. Vickie in charge for the night? Shoot me now...

Backstage, Del Rio is driving to the ring for his match, next. [C]

[Q2] 1. Alberto Del Rio defeated Kofi Kingston in 11:30. Both men lock up and Kofi got the early attack with a standing dropkick for a nearfall. Del Rio clotheslined Kofi and worked on him with kicks and a scoop slam. Del Rio rolled up Kofi for a one count. Del Rio Irish Whipped Kofi and Kofi countered with a back elbow and a uppercut. Del Rio got kicked and got hit with a suicide dive outside of the ring.

Kofi covered for a nearfall. Del Rio hit a sick jumping inziguri to Kofi....[C]

The show returned with Del Rio dominating and imitating Kofi. Del Rio pressed his weight on Kofi and applied a headlock. Kofi got his momentum back but hitting instant offense to Del Rio and hitting a leaping crossbody for a nearfall. Kofi hit the Boom Drop on Del Rio and with for the TIP but Del Rio ducked out and pulled Kofi’s arm into the ringpost. Del Rio dropkicked Kofi’s arm and applied his finisher for the win.

Mind of Marv: This was a good match, but the crowd sat on their hands and cheered for the key spots. This can be a money upper mid-card program in the future, but clearly the focus is on Del Rio and Mysterio...

Post match, Rey Mysterio came out and hit the 619 on Del Rio...

Backstage, the Nexus conferred about Edge and the SD roster attacking them. Otunga gave them a shitty pep talk to Nexus and put himself over. Otunga clearly demonstrated some shitty acting...[C]

Mind of Marv: Lame ass segment which Otunga showed that he can’t act either....why does this guy have a Law Degree?

[Q3] Natalya vs. LayCool in a 2 on 1 handicap match for the Diva’s Championship is announced for Survivor Series...

2. Natalya beat Co-Divas Champion Layla in a non-title match in 3:30. Nattie hit a nice power slam to Layla for a nearfall. Layla got some offense with some nice kicks to Nattie for a nearfall. Layla applied a neck scissors to Nattie. Nattie botched a backbreaker to Layla and Layla missed a leg drop. Nattie hit a double arm suplex to Layla for a nearfall. Nattie applied the Sharpshooter for the win...

Mind of Marv: Another forgettable Divas match, but at least we got 3:30 worth of the Short, thick and stacked women of the WWE! EPIC WIN!

Backstage, Kane and Paul Bearer were surrounded by boxes. Kane cut a promo about Edge finding ways to beat him and talked about Taker getting buried alive. He called everyone insects and said that nothing can stop him. He said that he is everyone’s champion...

Mind of Marv: Yawn, the sadistic music make the promo so shitty to endure...sigh.

Otunga vs. Edge is next...[C] [Q4]

3. David Otunga defeated Edge in a lumberjack match to keep his spot in The Nexus in 10:00. Otunga got dominated with a heel kick and got pushed out of the ring. The SD roster attacked him briefly before the commerical break...[C]

The show returned with Edge tossing Otunga outside and the SD roster got their beatdown in. Otunga tossed Edge out and no one messed with him except Del Rio who pulled Edge’s leg. Otunga got back on offense some elbows to Edge and covered for a nearfall.

[Q5] Otunga applied a crossface to Edge and Edge countered into a fallaway slam. Edge hit instant offense to Otunga for a nearfall. Edge hit a flapjack to Otunga and the SD roster fought each other outside of the ring. Edge went for the spear but McGuillicutty go in the ring and got speared. Edge went for the spear to Otunga but Kane came in and chokeslammed Edge and Otunga pinned Edge...

Mind of Marv: Otunga is so damn green in the ring, I don’t even know where to start. If Edge couldn’t carry him in a match, I don’t know who can. I hate to say this but John Cena is a better wrestler than Otunga...send the hate mail because I don’t care at this point. This was a shitty match which hypes the world title match at the Survivor Series, but does anyone really care about Kane and Edge for the belt? I sure don’t...

Show vs. Kane is the main event tonight and MVP vs. Ziggler is next...[C]

The WWE Rewind was the triple threat match from last week which MVP won to become the number one contender to the IC title.

4. Dolph Ziggler defeated MVP to retain the Intercontinental Title in 8:40. MVP went for three quick covers for nearfalls. MVP pressed Dolph and kicked Dolph outside of the ring. [C] [Q6]

The show returned with Dolph leaping with an elbow for a nearfall. Dolph applied a body scissors. MVP countered with a clothesline and Dolph countered with a cover with his feet on the ropes for a nearfall. Both men exchanged nearfalls and MVP had a rollup but the referee was attending to the ring rope for a nearfall. Dolph went back to the body scissors.

Both men exchanged blows until MVP hit his instant offense and covered for a nearfall. MVP hit the Ballin’ Elbow for a nearfall. MVP attacked Dolph in the corner but Dolph headbutted him off. Dolph jumped from the top and MVP hit a sick kick for a nearfall. Dolph hit a botchy Zig Zag after kicking MVP in the knee for the win..

Mind of Marv: Average matchup between these two...we will most likely get this match again to fill up the dry ass Survivor Series card because there is nothing but three matches scheduled so far...

The Stand Up for WWE campaign was shown and backstage, Kane was chilling with the boxes. Kane saw the urn laying on the floor but Bearer was nowhere to be found...[C]

[Q7] Cody Rhodes came out and cut some lame ass promo about Americans and UK people being friends and having oral hygiene. The announcers got their fake laugh on and Cody said that everyone has summer teeth and continued to rip on the audience’s teeth. Cody gave a man a bottle of mouthwash and gave a kid a toothbrush. Another STUPID dashing grooming tip was shown on teeth...

The Titantron had a picture of Cody saying “God Save your Teeth”...

Mind of Marv: This was a waste of f*****g time...

Kane was backstage and he asked a guy if he knew where Paul bearer was the guy didn’t know. Show vs. Kane is next...[C]

[Q8] 5. Big Show defeated World Heavyweight Champion Kane in a non-title match in 14:30. Kane got the early attack, but Show hit a big ass shoulderblock for a nearfall. Show used his power and pounded Kane. Kane came back with a low dropkick to Show’s knee. Kane got shoved off by Show twice and caught an elbow. Show smushed Kane for a nearfall. Kane tried to chokeslam Show but Show countered out. Kane clotheslined Show and himself over the ropes.

Backstage, Paul Bearer was tied up in the back...[C]

The show returned with Big Show applying an armbar to Kane and placed pressure on the arm. Show pressed his weight on Kane and gave him a headbutt and chop. Kane hit a nice DDT to Kane for a nearfall. Kane hit some stomps and hit another low dropkick for a nearfall. Kane applied a headlock and Show powered out with elbows. Show shoulderblocked Kane out of the ring and Kane pushed Show off the ring rope. Kane hit a clothesline off the ropes for a nearfall.

Show hit a side slam to Kane and he hit instant offense until Kane hit another big boot and clothesline. Kane went for the chokeslam but Edge came up with the tied up Paul Bearer. Edge taunted Kane and said that the wheelchair Bearer is n has a mind of its own and he teased pushing Bearer off the ramp. Show chokeslammed Kane to win the match.

Edge told Bearer to say goodbye to Kane and rolled him away to close the show.

Mind of Marv: Ugh, these big man matches really suck because they are so limited in what they can do. Overall, this was a below average show that bored me from start to finish. The PPV is in nine days and WWE is not giving me a reason to care about this show...
