[Q1] The opening video aired, followed by the pyro, and Todd Grisham and Matt Striker welcomed us to Superstars. They hyped the Usos vs. The Harts for the main event…Chris Masters made his ring entrance. Vance archer and Curt Hawkins were out next…

1. Chris Masters defeated Vance Archer (w/Curt Hawkins) at 10:46. Both men hit power blows early, but Masters took control first. He hit a flying knee for two and worked the arm. Archer rolled Masters in the ring and climbed up on the apron. Hawkins grabbed his leg and argued with Archer. Masters came up from behind and hooked in the Masterlock. He dragged Archer over the top rope and held it till Archer passed out. Post-match, Hawkins attacked Archer and hit the Heat Seeking Elbow before storming off…

[Q2] A video recapped NXT…The announce team hyped the main event…[C]

Shore’s Slant: So that’s how they break the “Gate Crashers” up, by losing to Chris Masters on the O show? What a waste. I realize they haven’t been doing much lately, but they could have at least let the break up on Smackdown. The match was OK, about what you would expect. Did anybody else catch that this was Mr. Dancing Breasts vs. Mr. Tramp Stamp? Just me? Oh…

Back from commercial, William Regal made his ring entrance as Jerry “The King” Lawler was joined on commentary by Scott Stanford. Darren Young was out next…

2. William Regal defeated Darren Young at 4:11. Young started out with arm bars and hip drags, but Regal got a dirty break in the corner and took control. Regal worked his stiff style on Young. He locked in a rest hold, but Young came back and worked strikes and a back flip. Young got a near fall on a flying forearm, but Regal rolled to the floor and dropped Young on the apron. He followed with the Knee Trembler for the win…The announce team hyped the main event…

Shore’s Slant: OK match. Young is very green, but I have always like him more than most. Regal will either mature him or kill him, that much is for sure. I don’t know who the new guy is, but I’m guessing he is getting his test run.

[Q3][C] An Alberto Del Rio hyped video aired…The Raw Rebound video aired…The Harts made their ring entrance without Natalya…[C]

[Q4] 3. The Usos (w/Tamina) defeated The Hart Dynasty at 15:02. Tyson Kidd and Jimmy Uso started. Jimmy tossed Kidd around, but Kidd came right back with a rolling leg lock. Smith tagged in and hit a scoop slam for two. Jimmy slapped the shit out of Smith and tagged in Jay. Jay ran in and Smith hit an arm drag. Smith hit a slam for two and tagged in Kidd who worked the arm. Smith tagged back in and hit a belly to belly for two.

Kidd tagged back in and hit a double team move for two. Kidd went back to the arm. They worked a cool in and out spot on the ropes with Kidd hitting a dropkick through the ropes. Jimmy check on Jay, and Kidd hit a front flip seated Senton to take them both out…[C]

Back at 8:46, Kidd hit a drop kick on both Usos and got a hot tag to Smith. Smith hit a big boot on Jay and then a leg drop. Jimmy started to break the count, but Smith knocked him to the floor. Tamina grabbed Smith’s leg and the Usos took control. Smith hit a belly to belly on Jimmy and got the hot tag to Kidd.

Kidd went on the attack and scored a near fall. He worked a great series of moves on the apron and then hit a hurricanranna on Jimmy for two when Jay broke it up. Smith ran in and Jay tossed him to the floor. Kidd clotheslined Jay onto Smith. Jimmy hit a heel kick and followed with the splash for the win…

Shore’s Slant: A very good TV match to close the show. These are two of the better tag teams in the WWE, and it is a shame they have been so misused. Still, they put on a good match here, so I’ll take what I can get. A decent show overall. I’ll have more to say tomorrow on the hitlist. Thanks for reading and I’ll see you then.
