[Q1] The opening montage aired and we were welcomed to Superstars. The main event is JTG vs. Shad. Carlito came out with his rookie Michael Tarver. Primo got a nice pumped out heat.

Mind of Marv: I'm covering the show tonight because the Cubs and the Pirates was shown and more importantly, I would like to personally send my condolences to Dot Net contributor Chris Shore on the passing of his grandfather. Keep Shore in your prayers tonight…

1. Primo vs. Carlito ended in a no-contest in 4:30. Both men locked up and Primo hit a shoulder block for a one count. Carlito lay in the corner, got back up and Primo went for a roll up for a nearfall. Primo hit some quick offense but Carlito kicked Primo in the gut. Carlito covered for a nearfall and scoop slammed Primo for a nearfall. Carlito applied a chin lock to Primo and Primo hit a crossbody for a nearfall. Primo came back clotheslines and blows to Carlito in the corner. Primo missed a crossbody and Carlito setup for a Backstabber but he asked for a mic.

Carlito asked if people really want see them tear each other apart. Carlito said no one cared about them and mentioned that they were the first unified tag champions. Carlito gave Primo an ultimatum and they both shook hands and hugged each other. Tarver looked stupefied as a result…[C]

Mind of Marv: I'm confused…is Primo a heel or will they push the Colons as a face tag team. As I do agree that they should be pushed to revamp the tag team division because as singles wrestlers, they are at the bottom of the barrel on the loaded Raw roster. Could this be a spoiler for Tarver to get eliminated next week? He did look more stupid than usual…

2. Chris Masters defeated Chavo Guerrero by submission in 5:05. The first :30 seconds consisted of pec and muscle showoff. Masters went for the Master Lock early but Chavo countered. Chavo hit a dropkick to Masters outside of the ring. Chavo took advantage with kicks and a clothesline to Masters. Chavo got technical with Masters and switched it to a cross face. Chavo tried a sleeper but Masters countered with a clothesline. Masters hit a backbreaker to a sidewalk slam for a nearfall. Masters went for the Master Lock again but Chavo countered into an hopping DDT for a nearfall. Chavo went for the Three Amigos but only hit one and Masters applied the Master Lock for the win.

Mind of Marv: Basic match which I enjoyed. Chavo can always put on a good match on this show which we will see more of unless they push him on Smackdown.

Backstage, Kelly Kelly was backstage and McCool, Layla and Vickie Guerrero were poking fun at Kelly Kelly by spraying something at her. Kelly called Vickie a cow and tried to rub something in her face but Beth and Tiffany came in to get rid of Simply Flawless…[C]

Mind of Marv: I don't care for the Mean Girls act, but did anyone see Kelly Kelly's ass in that dress??? To quote Ron Simmons, DAMN!!!

Rosa Mendes cut a weak ass promo about coming to Smackdown and spoke in Spanish and threatened Beth by hitting her with the mic.

3. Beth Phoenix squashed Rosa Mendes in 1:20. Rosa smacked the hell out of Beth and Rosa just got fed to Beth. Rosa hit a weak ass forearm and Beth grabbed her and hit a School Girl for the quick win. Afterwards, Beth was carried out because she was limping.

Mind of Marv: What did you really expect? Beth is a beast in the ring and Mendez screams future endeavored because she's useless without her Mr. Woo woo woo…

[Q3] The former Cryme Tyme guys face each other in the main event later…[C]

The Raw Rebound was shown and the Edge and Orton match was official for Over the Limit and JTG vs. Shad is next. [C]

[Q4] Footage of The Hart Dynasty winning the unified tag titles and the Smackdown Rebound was shown. JTG got the cheap heat from the crowd. Footage was shown of the brutal (all pun intended) strap match between JTG and Shad. Shad came out to his simple music while Striker compared to Nick Cannon…ugh.

4. Shad Gaspard defeated JTG in 11:00. JTG hit a flying leg drop to Shad for a one count. Shad missed a big boot and JTG dropkicked Shad out of the ring. JTG hit a flying crossbody to Shad. [C]

The show returned with Shad dominating JTG. Shad hit a big boot to JTG for a nearfall. Shad applied a full nelson type stretch to JTG as a submission. Shad kicked and clotheslined JTG for a nearfall. JTG got some offense in but Shad countered to a abdominal stretch to JTG. Shad sat on JTG, hit some blows to the mid section and applied another abdominal stretch to JTG. JTG hit an hiptoss to Shad and speared Shad into rollup for a nearfall. JTG hit some instant offense and added the Mugshot to Shad for a nearfall. Shad called timeout (wow) and JTG got the slight advantage. Shad hit the STO for the win the rubber match…

Mind of Marv: Me and 99% of people didn't give a damn about this match. I'm glad this was the rubber match because I don't want to see this again. The first half hour of this show was cool but the second half was ho hum because the Beth squash match, video package filler and a terrible main event. Overall, not a bad edition of Superstars and look out for a Hitlist tomorrow…
