[Q1] The opening montage aired and MVP vs. Ted Dibiase was announced as the main event.

1. Matt Hardy (w/Justin Gabriel) defeated Carlito (w/Michael Tarver) in 10:15. Matt started the match with a shoulderblock and a hip toss to Carlito. Matt hit a bulldog for a nearfall. Carlito DDT’d Matt’s injured arm and began to work on it for a while. Tarver was outside of the ring talking shit and Matt came back with punches to Carlito but Carlito countered by working on Matt’s arm. Matt used the ropes to flip Carlito and jumped off the ring for an elbow to the head. [C]

The show returned with Carlito still working on Matt’s arm. Matt worked on Carlito in the corner but Carlito countered with an Irish Whip for a nearfall. Matt hit an elbow to Carlito’s back and hit a Side Effect for a nearfall. Carlito went for a backstabber but Matt tried to hit the Twist of Fate but Tarver tried to distract the ref. Gabriel pulled Tarver off the ring and Matt hit the Twist of Fate on Carlito for the win.

Mind of Marv: Decent but plodding match. The match honestly did nothing for me and it could have of been worse. These guys are both jobbers on their respective brands, so its nothing much to say about them.

[Q2] The Ask a Diva segment was shown with the Divas singing their favorite karaoke songs…sigh.

MVP vs. Dibiase is later tonight…[C]

2. Christian (w/ Heath Slater) pinned Chavo Guerrero in 6:15. Both men lock up and Christian hit a shoulderblock for a one count. Chavo got some blows in but Christian knocked Chavo outside the ring. Christian hit a baseball slide to Chavo for a nearfall. Christian botched a missile dropkick and Chavo caught him. Chavo stretched Christian out and worked on him in the corner. Christian slapped and hit a tornado DDT to Chavo for a nearfall. Both men exchanged blows and Christian botched a shoulderblock. Christian hit a back body drop to Chavo and placed his weight on him by using the ropes.

Christian hit a missile dropkick and went for another tornado DDT, but he missed and Chavo hit 2 of the 3 amigos. Christian went for the Killswitch but Chavo countered with a Gory Bomb for a nearfall. Chavo hit a suplex off the top rope and went for a frogsplash but he missed. Christian hit the Killswitch for the win.

Mind of Marv: Again, another decent match by two veterans who could use a move to the blue brand. They are clearly wasted on Raw and a move to SD could freshen their characters.

[Q3] Highlights of the “Talk Off” by the NXT rookies and the main event is still to come…[C]

A Randy Orton hype video was shown…

Mind of Marv: Orton is a multi time WWE champion, why does he need this hype video? This should be devoted to mid-carders only if you ask me…

The RAW rebound was shown and the Extreme Rules card was run down. Ted Dibiase with the Million Dollar belt came to the ring…[C]

[Q4] Video was shown with Ted giving his Trust Fund promo and defeating Christian in the process. He cut a promo saying that it was a misunderstanding because he is not trying to be his father. He said the only thing his father gave him is a last name, a trust fund and the million dollar belt. He talked about people buying used cars and he bought a promo at eighteen years old. He got some heat and then, MVP came out and said he knows a perfect place to stick all his money and belt. He said that he worked hard for everything and no one gave a damn about how much he has. He said he’ll have no problem punching him in the mouth.

3. Ted DiBiase beat MVP in 9:40. MVP hit a shoulderblock an a right hand to Ted. MVP chased Ted and punched him outside of the ring. MVP hit a flying clothesline to Ted. Ted came back by tripping MVP off the top rope. [C]

The show returned with Ted having control with a knee to the head for a nearfall. Ted punched MVP and asked the crowd if they like the punch. Ted hit three of the falling fists to MVP and hit a clothesline for a nearfall. Ted kicked MVP’s arm and pressed his weight on the ropes to MVP. MVP got back on offense with punched, strikes and he hit the Ballin’ Elbow. Ted crawled out of the ring and hit a hangman to MVP. MVP threw Ted for a nearfall. Ted pushed MVP in-between the ropes and grabbed him to hit Dream Street for the win.

Mind of Marv: OK match, but I believed everything that was good about the match was during the commercial break or the verbal exchange before the match. But hey, this is Superstars so you can’t expect everything. Overall, this was an very average show. After Chris Shore recovers from his post birthday celebration, he’ll have the Hitlist available tomorrow…
