[Q1] The opening montage aired and JTG was accompanied by Shad. Punk came to the ring with the SES to some good heat.

1. C.M. Punk defeated JTG in 3:30. Both men locked up and Punk got the early advantage with kicks and knees to JTG. JTG Irish Whipped Punk and Punk countered by throwing him out of the ring. The SES was stalking JTG and Shad came over. Punk kneed JTG in the head and applied an headlock in the middle of the ring. JTG hit a shoulder block and some clotheslines. JTG hit the Mugshot for a near fall. JTG hit some punches and a small package for a near fall. JTG botched a hip toss and Punk countered with a knee and bulldog. Punk hit his Maui Tai kicks and put JTG to sleep with the GTS…

Mind of Marv: Quick and painless warm-up match for Punk. Punk should get the job done on Sunday…my personal prediction spoiler, haha.

Mysterio vs. Kidd is the main event tonight…[C]

The Wrestlemania Recall was from WM12 when HBK came through the zip line. The Raw announcers hype the Wrestlemania Week events and the video package of the HBK/Taker rivalry was shown…

The Smackdown announcers hyped the World Heavyweight Title match by showing a video package of Edge’s return and the current feud with Chris Jericho...

Mind of Marv: I was so geeked and jacked about this match, but it lost its luster because of one word…SPEAR.

Mysterio vs. Kidd is later…[C]

[Q3] The Bret/Vince video package was shown and footage of Mysterio losing to Luke Gallows this past Friday on Smackdown. Rey Mysterio made his ring entrance…[C]

2. Rey Mysterio defeated Tyson Kidd (w/ Natalya and DH Smith) in 15:21. Both men lock up and Kidd applied a body scissors to a armbar lock. Mysterio countered out of the lock with kicks to Kidd. Kidd pressed Mysterio to the mat and Mysterio countered with some quick offense but Kidd countered out with a nearfall. Kidd slammed Mysterio’s head in the corner. Mysterio set Kidd up for the 619, but Nattie pulled his leg. Mysterio splashed on DH Smith and Kidd got the advantage by picking up Mysterio and slammed him into the security railing. [C] [Q4]

The show returned with Kidd applying an armbar stretch. Mysterio came back with a drop toe hold to Kidd in the corner. Mysterio went for a splash but Kidd countered with a dropkick to Mysterio’s mid-section. Kidd placed the armbar submission back on Mysterio. Kidd pressed Mysterio in the middle of the ring. Kidd threw Mysterio back in the ring and hit gutwrench slam to Mysterio. Mysterio came back with kicks and turned it into a bulldog.

Kidd threw Mysterio out and he caught his balance, but the Harts attacked him outside of the ring. Kidd hit a springboard blockbuster to Mysterio for a nearfall. Kidd botched a springboard splash and Mysterio hit the West Coast Pop and a flying crossbody for a nearfall. Mysterio hit a hurracarana and a kick to Kidd’s head for a nearfall. Kidd hit a spinning heel kick and splashed Rey on the top rope and a springboard flying elbow for a nearfall. Kidd hit a shoulderblock to Mysterio’s gut and went for another one but Rey countered with the 619 to win the match…

Mind of Marv: Very good match to close a video heavy show. Kidd can really work but he’s really technicial and he had his share of botched moves. Chris Shore will provide the Hitlist tomorrow for the show…
