[Q1] The show kicked off with announcers welcoming us to SD and they hyped the return with the Highlight Reel. Rey Mysterio and his family come out to a huge pop. Rey said what’s up to everyone and said every week he lets them in their homes and he introduced his family to the crowd. He considered everyone in the WWE Universe as his family. He introduced his family and talked about him and other superstars that miss out of important days in their lives. He said they go out of their way to do things for their kids and tonight they will celebrate his daughter’s ninth birthday.

He wanted everyone to extend their love and everyone told his daughter happy birthday. He asked the crowd to sing Happy Birthday and Punk and the SES came out to interrupt and got some nice heat.

Punk said don’t stop on the count of him and sang Happy Birthday and she got scared when he sang. Punk said Rey looks scared and he is not out here to hurt him. He said that he is happy that he is out here and they all need to celebrate the occasion. He said he is challenging Rey to a match at WM and challenge him to a match tonight. He said not later, but right now. Rey said its not the time and Punk said since it her birthday, as a birthday present, she can shut her eyes while he shut him to tears and beg for mercy. He got a ton of heat and said that you must of never heard him scream like a pig on his knees and he started to criticize his wife.

Punk said after what he will do to Rey, it will be the worst of times so feel free to cover her mouth to muffle the screams. Punk started to punk Rey out and called him a coward. He said everyone in his family and the crowd knows that he is a coward. He asked what’s it going to take and he asked where is giant killer Mysterio at. He said where is his 619? He asked where his Machismo is and he said his courage he never had. He said that he will drop down to Rey’s level. He begged Rey to fight him and he slapped the hell out of Rey. Rey and his family left the ring and Punk taunted Rey by saying he is taking his walk of shame. He said one last thing and he sang Happy Birthday to a chorus of boos from the crowd…

Mind of Marv: Dreadful segment, that Punk basically saved. Why does WWE feel that someone should have their family involved in a storyline? Punk was so money in this segment it got rather hilarious and he started to make Rey look soft verbally.

[Q2] The announcers pulled the sorrow card about Mysterio getting harassed by Punk. Miz made his entrance with Bryan looking disgruntled. Highlights were shown of Truth and Morrison beating on ShoMiz. The Miz said that Truth and Morrison think they could come to Raw and embarrass the last truly great tag team in the WWE and he asked, Really? He said they think they will go to Mania and win the tag titles and asked the crowd if they could beat them. He said tonight Show will face Morrison and he will face Truth and prove that they are the most dominant tag team because they are ShoMiz and they’re awesome…

Truth did his weak ass entrance with Otunga…

1. R-Truth (w/Dave Otunga) beat United States and Unified Tag Team Champion The Miz (w/Daniel Byran) in a non-title match in 6:06. The match started with the crowd saying Awesome chants and The Miz having the early advantage. Truth his is unorthodox offense on Miz and clotheslines him out of the ring. Truth leaped on Miz from the top rope. [C]

The show returned with Truth hitting a back body slam to the Miz. Both men exchanged blows then Truth got on the advantage with a hiptoss and numerous clotheslines. Miz hit a kick to Truth but Truth countered with a big boot for a nearfall. The Miz hit Reality Check to Truth for a nearfall. Miz went for the SCF but Truth countered with a rollup for a nearfall. Truth hit the ropes and went for the axe kick but Mix tried a pinfall with his legs on the ropes and Byran moved his legs. The Miz got pissed and Truth hit the Lie Detector for the win.

Mind of Marv: Mediocre match at best. The Miz is doing a lot of jobs lately, but for some odd reason it not killing his cred. I’m feeling this tension between The Miz and Byran. NXT is getting the rub it deserves, why doesn’t Raw do this?

The Highlight Reel is later tonight…[C]

[Q3] The HBK/Taker video package was shown and the entire WM26 card was ran down…

Backstage, McIntyre was walking and Teddy Long approached him. Long said that his losses are expunged and for the third time he is trying to qualifying. Drew said that he is proud to be undefeated and get to qualify again. He said Vince handpicked his opponent but he still runs the show so his match with be a winner takes all, MITB match for the IC title. He said he loses tonight, he can kiss the streak goodbye and he said that’s real talk, playa…[C]

Mind of Marv: I officially hate McIntyre as the IC champ. He gets no heat, he get losses expunged and this clearly cheapens the IC title…sigh.

[Q4] Kane vs. Luke Gallows is later on tonight. Drew came out to his Primo heat and highlights where shown of his “alleged” losses the past two weeks. Chimel put over the jobber with all his qualifications…like it really matters, sigh…

2. Drew McIntyre squashed Aaron Bolo to retain the Intercontinental Title and qualify for Money in the Bank at Wrestlemania 26 in :30. Punch, slap, clothesline, Future Shock DDT…

Mind of Marv: Why bother? McIntyre has Michael Tarver 1.9 punch heat…

Post match, Drew gloated and demanded that the tool Striker tell everyone that he is going to WM. There are nine men in the MITB match now…

Mind of Marv: Not only the MITB match gets watered down, it’s a strong chance that McIntyre wins this match just to piss people off. Damn this show has been horrible through the first hour.

Big Show is coming out for his match against John Morrison, next…[C]

3. Unified Tag Team Champion Big Show beat John Morrison. Show laughed at Morrison before the match. Morrison got some kicks and punches but Show pummeled Morrison with a clothesline. Show hit Morrison with a headbutt and taunted him. Show slapped the shit out of Morrison’s chest. Show pushed Morrison and Morrison tried some punches but he got hit with a headbutt. Show told Morrison to stay down and pressed all his weight on him.

Show continued to taunt Morrison and chopped him to the ground.
Show applied a sleeper to Morrison and told Morrison to quit. Morrison got out of the hold with elbows to Show’s gut. Show booted Morrison out of the ring and grabbed him by his head. Morrison got some quick offense with a boot to the face but Show grabbed him. Morrison hit a missile dropkick to Show for a nearfall. Morrison hit a knee strike for a nearfall. Morrison went for the Flying Check but Big Show knocked Morrison’s ass out for the win.

Mind of Marv: Morrison got buried in this match. This was basically a squash match early and he looked weak overall. I bet Chris Shore threw something to his TV because this match was similar to Superstars last night…

[Q5] The highlight reel is later tonight…[C]

Teddy Long welcomed Tiffany to SD and she said that she is ready to compete on SD. She asked about Mickie’s injury and Long said she will recover. Vickie came in with her XXL “Simply Flawless shirt on and she said that tiffany was the reason that ECW got canceled and they got NXT. So she said she should go back to being the resident babysitter and leave things to the big girls…

Mind of Marv: Vickie…big girls? Really?

Tiffany was trying to be nice but Vickie kept picking on her and Long said that Tiffany was not trying to take her job, well not now at least. Vickie said Tiffany will face Michelle McCool later tonight.

The Harts got the in-ring entrance…not good. The Harts face Cryme Tyme for the 1,900,000th time. Striker talked about Wendy Williams being a huge Cryme Tyme fan and he said the “How You Doin” catchphrase of Wendy’s and the whoop whoop chant…

Mind of Marv: Shaking my head…

[Q6] 4. The Hart Dynasty fought Cryme Tyme to a no-contest in 1:19. Kidd and JTG started the match. JTG hit a nasty uppercut to Kidd. Kidd started to work on JTG’s knee by slamming it into the ring post. Kidd applied a single leg Boston Crab to JTG and suddenly, Bell tolls. Taker buried everyone with finishers in the ring…[C]

Mind of Marv: Are you serious? Taker comes in and buried all four guys? What the hell does this prove? I’m getting a headache…

The Raw Rebound was shown and Stone Cold was hyped as the Guest Host on Raw. The WM Rewind matches was hyped for Raw. McCool, the Lovely Layla and Piggie Guerrero came out. Tiffany got cricket heat but DAMN she is smoking…

5. Tiffany beat Michelle McCool via DQ in 1:30. McCool shoved Tiffany and did the GI Jane act with pushups. Tiffany did a atomic drop and a clothesline to McCool. Tiffany hit a dropkick and knocked McCool out of the ring and attacked here. Tiffany slammed McCool’s head on the ring and hit an elbow. Tiffany dominated until Vickie got involved and got McCool disqualified. The heels beat on Tiffany until Beth Phoenix came out for the save. Beth cleaned house of the heels and played with Vickie until she destroyed her with a clothesline.

Mind of Marv: Well with Maria getting fired and Mickie on the shelf, Beth has to the be the babyface of the depleted Diva roster on SD…

Kane was heading to the ring for his match, next…[C]

[Q7] 6. Kane beat Luke Gallows via DQ at 7:30. Both men lock up and Kane hit a shoulderblock for a nearfall. Gallows used Kane as a punching bag in the corner but Kane countered with a big boot. Gallows attacked Kane with a flying shoulderblock and missed an elbow. Kane hit a low dropkick to Gallows. Kane went for a chokeslam but Gallows crawled out of the ring. [C]

Darren Young was backstage and he was watching on a monitor. Gallows hit a big splash for a nearfall.. Kane hit instant offense with a big boot, sidewalk slam for a nearfall. Kane went to the top and hit the clothesline, but Gallows countered a chokeslam for a nearfall. CM Punk and got Gallows DQed. Punk hit GTS on Kane, Rey came out and they battled on the floor. The Highlight Reel is next. [C]

Mind of Marv: This has been a shitty show indeed but the SES looks strong. They are the only ones that matter in this below average show…

[Q8] Chimmel introduced Jericho for the highlight reel segment…
Edge came out to a nice pop from the crowd. Jericho asked about Edge smiling and Edge said the only highlight that keeps happening is that he keeps hitting him with this move that he can’t remember and he kept getting the crowd to say spear.

Jericho said it was humorous and he called the crowd sheep to get some attention. He said it was fantasy and he only deals with reality and he only tells the truth. He said they could have been the greatest tag teams in history and they got injured. He bragged about past WM stealing the shows yet Edge rebutted saying that he was losing. He was going to say WM 20 when he lost to Chris Benoit…but of course WWE wants nothing to do with his name, so he stuttered…

Jericho said he wanted to be known as the best of this generation, and he was doing it injury free. Edge admitted to being injured. He put himself over with all the risks he did to further his career. He said his style taken off years of his career and he doesn’t have regrets. He said at Mania, he will take any risk to get the world title back. Jericho said that he taken a risks already especially when he agreed to face him at Mania. He called Edge a fraud and he never succeed with anything but hooking up with Vickie Guerrero. Edge said he regretted being with Vickie, but he takes risks to beat him for the world title. Jericho said he should of stayed away from him and he was there when he got injured.

He asked the doctor when he will back and said that it paid off because he won the Rumble. But he said that Edge was not fully healed and he is still injured and he said that he will love to see himself as champion. He said the reality is that at WM, he will beat him and hurt him and send him home for another six months which is a guarantee. Edge said he will make him the ex-world champion and he will do it after he hits him with a spear and Jericho hit him with a mic and the stool.

Edge pushed Jericho off and hit the Impaler DDT. Edge wanted to spear Jericho but Jericho hit him with the belt and knocked Edge out. Jericho chanted “spear” to ended the show. …

Mind of Marv: I apologize for the slow recapping…my computer got the Twilling virus which is sad as hell... But overall, this feud went from white hot to lukewarm because Edge as a face is just not clicking. He got the best of Jericho and finally Jericho stands out this week. This match was main event worthy now its looking like the middle of the card and that saddens me. Overall, this show was pure shit…which doesn’t even get a grade from me. Chris Shore will have the Hitlist tomorrow because I wouldn’t dare do this week…
