The announcers hyped the main event match of John Morrison vs. R-Truth.

1. Ezekiel Jackson defeated Heath Slater in 3:00. Slater avoided Jackson's offense early, which only served to anger the big man. Jackson immediately started to tear Slater apart. Slater managed to avoid a corner splash and took advantage by targeting Jackson's left arm.

Jackson battled back, locked in the Torture Rack, and got the submission victory.

The announcers replayed R-Truth's assault on John Morrison from the May 2 edition of Raw… [C]

Ryan's Rant: What an absolute throwaway. It was too short to matter and neither man gave the match a real effort.

2. Brodus Clay squashed Brandon James in 0:52. Brodus debuted a new black and red singlet tonight. The announcers talked about how the last three of Clay's opponents were still in the hospital.

Brodus worked the same match he has for the past several weeks. He slammed his opponent, had the pin but picked the kid up, and then hit a corner splash into the fall of Humanity for the win.

The next clip was from July 25 and showed Morrison attacking R-Truth… [C]

Ryan's Rant: Every week WWE continues to add a bit to Brodus, which really makes me think that they're getting behind him. This was a proper squash match and I still can't get over the Fall of Humanity.

Zack Ryder made his way to the ring. He had a video recorder and a microphone in his hand, and he searched the crowd for his Broski of the week. Tyson Kidd then made his entrance.

3. Zack Ryder beat Tyson Kidd in 4:41. Tyson slapped Ryder, who immediately punched out Kidd and hit the Broski Boot. Tyson fell to the floor and Ryder tried to follow with a suicide dive only to miss.

Kidd immediately took advantage of the downed Ryder and locked in a rest hold. Ryder battled out and Tyson went for the Sharpshooter, only to be kicked off. Ryder followed up with a Sky High powerbomb for a near fall. Ryder went for and missed the Rough Ryder.

Moments later, Tyson charged Ryder in the corner but Ryder got his knees up. He went for the Rough Ryder again and this time scored the hit, and got the 1-2-3.

On August 15, Morrison beat R-Truth in a street fight… [C]

Ryan's Rant: Bleh. That was disappointing. Kidd continues to be unimpressive with his reliance on rest holds, and the entire match just really never got into second gear. There was no drama in the finish, whatsoever. I expect better from these two, as I have seen them put on much better matches. I understand being miffed about being stuck on Superstars, but that's no excuse to have a lackluster match in front of an arena full of people.

A video aired that covered the angle involving C.M. Punk, Triple H, and Kevin Nash… [C]

4. R-Truth defeated John Morrison in 11:27. Truth glared at the crowd as Morrison bounced around to get them excited.

Morrison took early control and went right into a side headlock on Truth, but Truth battled out and took control. Truth jawed with the crowd and went to pick Morrison up off the mat, but Morrison hit a dropkick and a clothesline to send Truth to the floor.

The pair battled on the floor for a moment. Morrison hit the flying chuck kick off of the steel steps. Back in the ring, Morrison hit his handstand leg drop for a near fall. The pair ended up back on the floor, and Truth threw Morrison into a barricade… [C]

Back from the break, Truth had Morrison in a chinlock. Morison battled out, but Truth broke him down with a series of kicks/ Truth hit a sitout release suplex for a near fall before going back to the chinlock.

Eventually, Morrison hit an enziguri before hitting his backflip side-slam for a great near fall. Morrison went for his running knee, but Truth ducked and rolled Morrison up for two. Truth followed up with his suplex stunner for another two-count.

Truth put Morrison in the corner, but Morrison fought him off with elbows. Morrison went for Starship Pain, but Truth got his knees up. Moments later, Truth hit Truth Hurts for the win.

Ryan's Rant: That was a good match, but it's nothing different from the matches we have seen between these two. I wish they would just move on from this feud as R-Truth has something good going with the Miz, and John Morrison desperately needs something unless they just want to use him for crowd-pleasing spots and bumping for guys they'll actually push.

This was an extremely lackluster Superstars, and it was easily one of the worst editions of the show iin some time. They had been doing a wonderful job with at least producing some exciting matches, but this week was an absolute waste. Thanks for reading.
