WWE NXT on the Syfy Network
Taped earlier tonight in Louisville, KY

[Q1] Footage aired of the numerous attacks orchestrated by The Nexus. Their appearance tonight was hyped with the question of why they were showing up in the first place...

The opening video aired and fireworks lit up the stage. Michael Cole and Josh Mathews welcomed us to the show. Cole sent it to the ring where Matt Striker and Ashley Valence introduced the WWE Pros. They each came out and took their seats on the stage...

The Nexus were introduced next. They came out and sat down on the opposite side of the stage. Darren Young was not with his group for the second straight night. Wade Barrett said it was a pleasure to be in the building.

He said they were celebrating their win over John Cena by coming back to the show that gave them their start. Barrett wished the season two Rookies good luck and told the Pros they were just there to enjoy the show...

Twill's Two Cents: I remember thinking Ashley was doing a good job when she first began, and she toned down the over-announcing of the names, but she went too far the other way. "The Nexus." No fanfare or anything. She needs to find a happy medium.

1. Mark Henry and Lucky Cannon defeated The Miz and Alex Riley in 11:36. Miz had Riley start with Henry and was not happy with his performance. Cannon tagged in and focused on the left arm of Alex Riley.

Cannon, with Riley on the floor, tried a slingshot high cross body, but he was too close to the steel ring steps and awkwardly landed on them. I'm guessing that was not intentional... [C]

[Q2] Riley scored a nearfall on Cannon coming back from the break. Miz finally tagged in for his team and controlled Cannon before tagging Riley back in. Henry finally got ahold of Miz and landed some shots. Miz tagged Riley. Henry lifted him into the ring right into a WSS for the win...

Afterward, Henry poured some garbage on Riley as Miz watched from the ramp...

Twill's Two Cents: Cole said, "Henry took out the trash." I bet he had that one in the holster for the last 24 hours. Not a great match but I actually enjoyed watching it because it allowed the Rookies to be involved in a longer match. Nice for Henry to get some heat back without taking any away from Miz.

A video aired showing what the Pros thought of Alex Riley. Miz loved him, Kofi liked him, and everyone else was not too fond of him...

Percy Watson's talk show is up next. This should be good... [C]

Footage of Jack Swagger's MITB run was shown. The announcers ran down the current card for Sunday's pay-per-view...

[Q3] Footage was shown of last night's alliance between Sheamus and John Cena to fight off The Nexus...

Percy Watson earned a talk show. That show will take place after the break. Hot tub! (Bonus points for those who get that reference)... [C]

The ring was set up for a talk show with a red mat and black couches. It's Percy's VIP Lounge! Percy said, "Oh yeah!" a lot. He absolutely cracks me up. He's hilarious. I don't even know what he is saying really. He introduced MVP and MVP came out to the ring.

Percy said he appreciated everything MVP has done for him thus far. MVP said Percy has listened to him thus far. Percy said MVP told him to embrace the moment and he was about to do that. He had the season two Rookies come out to surround MVP.

MVP said he was disappointed, but he never comes to a party alone. The Pros came out and they had a face off in the ring. Barrett threw The Nexus into the mix and Matt Striker said there would be a twenty man battle royal... [C]

Twill's Two Cents: Barrett said he was going to win the battle royal and with his group standing to his side, that is usually the first sign of dissension. I hope that does not turn out to be the case here. I like battle royals. After this one is over, I'm going to grab some more Oreos.

2. All six Nexus members won a battle royal that included the NXT season two Rookies and the NXT season two Pros in 15:13. The Nexus watched the match from the floor. Why don't more people do this during battle royals? They attacked anyone who was eliminated.

[Q4] As The Nexus circled MVP on the floor, Kofi Kingston and John Morrison fought them off. The NXT Pros and Rookies stood in the ring ready for a possible attack by The Nexus... [C]

The Nexus finally entered the match. Tarver wrestled with his outlaw bandana over his mouth. The Nexus remained the smart ones by waiting in a corner and watching everyone else fight. The Nexus and five of the Pros (minus Mark Henry and MVP) remained.

The Miz eliminated Zack Ryder because Ryder was annoying him. Miz tried to call a truce with Nexus. It didn't work. Miz then eliminated himself. Kofi, Cody, and Morrison remained with The Nexus. Rhodes sat back and watched the babyfaces get beat down.

Four members of The Nexus eliminated Morrison. Kofi met a six on one because Cody kept avoiding the action. Barrett threw Kofi out. Cody tried to shake hands with Justin Gabriel. By the way, did a blind guy cut Justin's hair?

After a lot of song and dance, Cody was beat down. They then threw him out and The Nexus won the match (all six of them)...

[Overrun] Afterward, they continued their attack on Rhodes. Matt Striker entered the ring and asked Barrett what he thought of the fans saying, "Nexus sucks." I'm guessing they don't give a shit Matt.

Barrett told Striker to leave the ring before things got ugly. Barrett started to cut a promo and Striker played his stupid card by asking Barrett if they were proud about what they did to John Cena. Barrett said, "You're either Nexus, or against us." Haha.

Twill's Two Cents: Well, there is another nWo reference, along with all of the mentions of "wolf pack style" beatings. Good show tonight. I liked the battle royal. The opening match was a good one for the rookies involved. Showtime showed off some more personality. With another elimination in two weeks, I wonder what they will come back with next week.

Thank you for following along with me tonight. The Hitlist will be up tomorrow and I'll be back next Tuesday night.
