WWE Main Event on ION
Taped on 2/19 in Biloxi, Mississippi.

[Q1] The opening video aired, followed by the pyro, and Michael Cole and The Miz opened the show from the desk. They started to narrate images from the Elimination Chamber, but Big Show's music cut them off. Show came out cutting a promo about people laughing at him. He said Booker T was jealous of him and that was why he had been put in ridiculous situations that made him look bad.

Show said he would destroy Booker T, and said there wasn't anyone in the back who had enough guts to come out and laugh in his face. He called Miz a pretty boy and said he needed to sit there, do his job, and keep his mouth shut. Wait, isn't it Miz's job to talk? Anyway, The Usos came out to challenge Big Show but didn't laugh in his face…

1. Big Show vs. The Usos in a handicap match. Both men attacked at the bell, but Show no sold it and beat them both up with chops and head-butts. Show went for a splash on one of the men, but the other saved his brother. After trying several times, they finally hit a double suplex oh Show. They followed with a double superkick, a double elbow, and double top rope splashes. Show kicked out at one. He hit double chokeslams to beat the brothers…

Big Show defeated the Usos at 3:37.

As soon as the ref hit three, Brodus Clay's music hit and he marches straight to the ring with no dancing or dancers…

2. Big Show vs. Brodus Clay. Clay went right at Show and managed to knock him down to one knee. Show powered back and went for his chop in the corner. Clay blocked it and hit the ropes. Show grabbed him and tossed him to the floor to signal a break…[C]

Shore's Slant: Crazy opening, but I'm not sure Show wrestling the Usos and Brodus Clay is going to give him that much of a lift, especially when it happens on the Wednesday night show.

[Q2] Back from commercial, Show worked over Clay's left arm. Clay shoved Show away and hit a head-butt. He followed with several corner splashes. Show no sold it by hitting a thrust kick. He tried to follow with an elbow, but Clay moved. Clay hit his splash finisher, but Show kicked out at two. Show stood and backed into the corner. Clay charged, and Show hit the WMD for the win…

Big Show defeated Brodus Clay at 9:56.

No sooner had the bell rang than Great Khali decided he wanted some…

3. Big Show vs. Great Khali. Khali backed Big Show into a corner and hit a big chop. He hit two more and a clothesline. Show went to the floor to regroup…[C] Big Show was in control when the show came back. Show sent Khali to the floor and hit the WMD when he tried to climb back in. Khali sold for a count out…

Big Show defeated Great Khali by count out at 7:27.

Miz stood up and said since Show wanted to call him out, it was time to make this show "must see." He took his jacket and tie off and ran into the ring. Miz got the best of Show with a low dropkick and other kicks. Show rolled to the floor for a moment and tried to get back in, but Miz hit another dropkick. Show left as Miz yelled at him from the ring…

Shore's Slant: So I guess Miz gets fed to Show to give Show his heat back. I don't know if this will be at or before WrestleMania, but I don't think there's any question that these two are headed for a match. This run didn't impress me much, and I honestly don't think it impressed the average fan either.

[Q3][C] The Raw Rebound video was the Rock's celebration and CM Punk's attack on John Cena…The announce team hyped Mr. McMahon vs. Paul Heyman, and then set up a Tout video with Vickie putting over her choice of Brad Maddox as her assistant. Backstage, Brad Maddox was giving orders to the crew about making changes. Matt Striker asked him about his plans, and Maddox said that it was the era of Brad and Vickie, or Brickie. I shit you not. Maddox closed by saying his first act would be on Monday when we saw McMahon vs. Heyman. Striker tried to point out it wasn't his idea and Maddox cut him off…

Shore's Slant: Not for nothing, but "Brickie" is kind of funny. Maddox has crazy charisma, so I'm interested to see what he can do in this role.

The announce team setup the immigration video Jack Swagger and Zeb Colter from their new YouTube channel… Backstage, Striker tried to interview Justin Gabriel. Titus O'Neal walked up and acted a fool. Gabriel said he had a number for Titus, 450. Titus said that was the number of ways he would beat Gabriel tonight. Gabriel made his ring entrance…[C]

Shore's Slant: If WWE knew about the arrest last night, you have to believe they had opportunity to cut this if they wanted to. This isn't a definitive sign, but it would be interesting to know if his status was known before this went to post-production.

[Q4] Cole and Miz hyped John Cena on the box of Fruity Pebbles and then showed a Tale of the Tape between John Cena and Fred Flintstone. I have no words… Titus O'Neal made his ring entrance…

4. Justin Gabriel vs. Titus O'Neal. Titus took quick control while Cole and Miz put over The Marine 3. Titus drew good heat jawing with the crowd. Gabriel took advantage of the distraction and kicked Titus in the face. Titus went to the floor and "The Cape Town Werewolf" hit a dive…[C]

Shore's Slant: Cape Town Werewolf? He sparkles too much to be a werewolf. He has to be a vampire. Wait, what am I saying…
