Taped earlier in Columbus, Ohio.

[Q1] 1. Tons of Funk (w/The Funkadactyls) vs. 3MB in a handicap match. Brodus Clay started opposite of Heath Slater. Clay quickly gained control and slammed Slater around the ring. Slater tagged in Mahal and Clay tagged in Sweet T. Tensai continued his team's dominant ways and manhandled Mahal.

Mahal managed to catch Tensai with a running high knee, and the heels took over with a series of quick tags as they wore the big man down. Clay got a hot tag into the match and hit a splash on Mahal from the second rope. McIntyre broke the count and Slater hit Clay with a corkscrew splash for the pinfall victory…

3MB defeated Tons of Funk in 5:46.

The announcers discussed the rematch between Ryback and CM Punk for Hell in a Cell…

Ryan's Reaction: Wow. You know you're on a low spot on the roster when the perennially designated jobbers manage to go over against you.

[Q2] [C] 2. Tamina Snuka vs. Aksana. Tamina took an early advantage, but Aksana dodged a charge from Tamina that sent her crashing into the corner. Aksana worked a series of elbow drops and an arm wrench to wear Tamina down.

Aksana hit a sidewalk slam and crawled around the ring. Tamina popped up and turned the tide with a series of kicks to Aksana's gut. Aksana quickly fought back and got a near fall off of a neckbreaker.

Aksana missed with a front dropkick and Tamina hit a gutbuster followed by a big boot for the pinfall victory… [C]

Tamina Snuka defeated Aksana in 3:26.

Ryan's Reaction: Odd match. They obviously wanted Tamina to look strong, but the majority of the very short match saw Aksana dominating the offense. Tamina's new look and gimmick work well enough, but she should be protected a bit more at this point rather than looking like she got lucky and won off of an opening.

A recap of Stephanie McMahon firing Big Show aired…

[Q3] [C] 3. Big E Langston vs. Zack Ryder. Langston manhandled Ryder early, but Ryder managed to create some distance and he knocked Langston to the floor with a running superman punch, followed up a baseball slide to Langston on the floor.

Langston collected himself on the outside… [C]

Back from the break, Langston floored Ryder with a punch to the gut. Langston continued to work over Ryder's midsection with a series of shoulder thrusts in the corner. Langston locked in a bear hug.

Ryder fought out of the hold, but Langston kept control with a belly-to-belly suplex for a two count. Langston went for a running splash, but Ryder rolled out of the way. Ryder followed with a flying dropkick and a Broski Boot. Langston rolled into the floor and Ryder followed.

Langston dropped Ryder on the barricade and followed with a clothesline. Back in the ring, Ryder nearly stole the match with a rollup. Ryder attacked Langston in the corner but charged right into a urinagi.

Langston hit the Big Ending to put Ryder away…

Big E Langston defeated Zack Ryder in 10:20.

[Q4] A recap of Vickie Guererro announcing John Cena's return to face Alberto Del Rio and Del Rio's subsequent attack on Ricardo Rodriguez aired… [C]

Ryan's Reaction: Good match. If that match showed me anything, it's that Ryder can work well in the ring when given some extra time to work. His gimmick is holding him back more than it's helping him at this point, and it's been that way for far too long.

A recap of the end of Raw's main event and Big Show knocking out Triple H aired…

Ryan's Reaction: Decent show overall. The first half was entirely skippable, but the match between Langston and Ryder was solid. If you skipped this week's Main Event, you didn't miss anything special. Thanks for following along with me this evening.
