WWE Main Event on ION
Taped on 10/29 in Tampa, Florida.

[Q1] The opening video aired, followed by Kofi Kingston's music, and Josh Matthews and Miz checked in on commentary.

1. Kofi Kingston vs. Ryback. Kofi attacked at the bell, but Ryback shoved him down to take control. Ryback worked power moves on Kofi. Kofi came back and went for the Trouble in Paradise. Ryback ducked and rolled to the floor. Kofi hit a dive on Ryback and rolled him in the ring. Ryback hit a kick on Kofi when he tried to climb back in the ring…[C]

[Q2] Ryback continued to work over Kofi and hit a sick belly-to-belly suplex for two. Kofi finally hit a surprise DDT to start his comeback. Ryback stopped it and went to the top rope for some reason and ate Kofi's foot when he jumped/fell off. Ryback came right back with the meat hook clothesline, however, and followed with Shell Shock for the win…

Ryback defeated Kofi Kingston at 14:08.

Shore's Slant: An OK match but not good enough to overcome the lack of a story or any real character by either man.

A video recapped John Cena's victory over Damien Sandow from Raw and hyped Cena for Smackdown on Friday… Santino Marella made his ring entrance…[C]

2. Santino Marella vs. Heath Slater (w/3MB). Santino failed to both kip up and skin the cat. I guess WWE wrestlers failing at athleticism is now a good thing. He finally did the kip up and setup for the Cobra. He hit Jinder Mahal who tried to interfere, and Slate for the win…

Santino Marella defeated Heath Slater at 4:27.

[Q3] A teaser video hyped the end of Raw recap for next…[C]

Shore's Slant: One garbage comedy match down. Two more to go. Ryan Kester has the flu tonight supposedly. He probably looked at the spoilers and said, "f--- that. I'm not covering that show." I'll kill him if that's true. I'll be sympathetic, but I'll still kill him.

The Raw Rebound video recapped the end of Raw and then another video showed Triple H banning Big Show during his interview with Michael Cole posted today on WWE.com… Fandango made his ring entrance with Summer Rae…[C]

[Q4] 3. Fandango (w/Summer Rae) vs. Great Khali (w/Natalya and Hornswoggle). Khali chopped Fandango around. Fandango rolled to the floor and Hornswoggle almost interfered with him and Summer Rae. Back in the ring, Khali setup for his finisher but Summer Rae jumped on the apron to distract him. Natty pulled her down, but Fandango was still able to hit a chop block, DDT from the knees, and the top rope leg drop for the win…

Fandango defeated Great Khali at 3:34.

Los Matadores made their entrance…[C]

4. Los Matadores (w/El Torito) vs. Los Locales. Los Locales are Ricardo Rodriguez and Tyson Kidd. Los Matadores were getting beat so El Torito saved them because rules. They hit their finisher for the win…

Los Matadores defeated Los Locales at 5:10.

Shore's Slant: Good lord this show was awful. Ryback vs. Kofi was merely OK and then it was just video packages and garbage from there. Kester picked the right show to get sick on. Thanks for following along tonight.
