The first match was scheduled to be the tag title match. DX entered to a huge pop! Rey Mysterio came out to challenge Shawn Michaels and commented on Shawn wanting to fight Undertaker.

The Straight Edge Society entered. There was a great bit with Triple H on the mic and then Teddy Long came out and announced that there would not be a Unified Tag Title match. He said the matches would instead be Shawn Micheals vs. Rey Mysterio, and C.M. Punk vs Triple H.

1. Triple H defeated CM Punk by DQ in 12 minutes. Serena interfered for the Punk DQ. The Straight Edge Society ganged up on Triple H until Shawn Michaels came to the rescue.

2. R-Truth defeated Chris Jericho. R-Truth pinned Jericho in 9 minutes.

Josh Mathews interviewed Batista.

3. Drew McIntyre defeated John Morrison to retain the Intercontinental Championship. Good heat for McIntyr. Huge Pop for Morrison. The crowd chanted "we want tables." McIntyre hit Morrison with a kendo stick. Morrison and McIntyre had a brief fight in crowd. Morrison hit McIntyre with the kendo stick and flipped McIntyre onto the steel steps. They took the action back inside the ring. McIntyre DDT'd Morrison onto the IC Title belt and then pinnned Morrison 11 minutes.

Enter Michelle McCool making fun of Mickie James and calling her "Piggy" James. The skit really lost crowd. The crowd chanted "this is boring."

The show was incredible up until this bit, then lost a little momentum.

There was a brief Intermission to fix ring apron:

There was a Shawn and Batista confrontation in back. Batista attempted to threaten Shawn when in walked Hunter.

4. Shawn Michaels beat Rey Mysterio by DQ. Batista interfered for the DQ. Triple H entered and took out Batista. The biggest pop of the night occurred when Undertaker appeared out of nowhere in the middle of the ring after the bell tolled. Taker chokeslammed Shawn and Rey. (I believe this is where filming stops)

Jericho enters and Undertaker takes him out. The Straight Edge Society came out.

Dark Main Event Match

1. Undertaker and DX defeated Chris Jericho, CM Punk, and Luke Gallows. Huge pop for Undertaker. Undertaker chokeslammed Chris Jericho and pinned him in six minutes to end the show.

There was a near accident when Triple H and Shawn Michaels were leaving the ringside area. They went up the ramp and Triple H was nearly burned by the flames from the stage as he and Shawn were leaving and Taker's music was playing.

With the exception of the McCool "Piggy" James nonsense, the crowd was totally into the whole. Awesome job, WWE.

Most Heat: William Regal during the ECW show, CM Punk on Smackdown.
