WWE responds to Mike Knox allegations, claims four wrestlers lived in the Georgia home
Apr 7, 2008 - 07:06 PM

WWE issued a statement published on WSBTV.com. on Tuesday regarding WSBTV's report that Mike Knox was linked to the performance enhancing drugs and syringes that were found inside a Georgia home he once lived in. That statement notes: "...four professional wrestlers lived at the Locust Grove address, only one of whom is currently an active performer under a WWE contract. This performer has denied to WWE officials, as well as to Henry County Police Department officials, that the items discovered in this home belong to him."

Meanwhile, PWInsider.com is reporting that Ryan O'Riley and Derek Niekirk were two of the three wrestlers who lived in the home with Knox. O'Riley and Niekirk are no longer under contract to WWE.

Powell’s POV: The story goes that one of the shoeboxes found in attic contained drugs and syringes, while the other contained Knox's contracts and pay stubs from WWE. Police continue to investigate and have stated the criminal charges could be filed. One can only assume that fingerprints on the vials should prove which of the four former roommates the drugs belonged to.
