"I wish to clarify that I wasn't suggesting you had been involved in any sort of Michael Cole backlash, but I felt the fans often seemed to be a little hard on him," the fan wrote.

"I guess, however, a 'pro Michael Cole' sign would have sparked the same sort of reaction that this one clearly did. I think the Beatles are overrated, but it doesn't mean I don't like them. Powell's POV: Joey noted that his sign was eventually confiscated by security and questioned who makes the call. If nothing else, I give the fan credit for reaching out to Ross and explaining why he brought the sign. That said, Michael Cole still sucks.
