WWE cuts a pay-per-view from the 2010 schedule, raising the price on the shows
Nov 6, 2009 - 01:55 PM

WWE has eliminated a June pay-per-view from it's 2010 schedule, according to PWInsider.com. There will now be 13 pay-per-view events rather than the 14 shows the company has been running in recent years. The company is also raising the price of their pay-per-view events by five dollars to $44.95.

Powell's POV: The Breaking Point pay-per-view is no longer listed on the schedule for 2010. They have officially changed the name of the February show to Elimination Chamber. I'm all for WWE scaling back on the number of pay-per-views because it gives them more time to build up their shows. Then again, they had an extra week for Survivor Series and put minimal focus on the next pay-per-view during Monday's Raw.

By the way, WWE is bringing the Bragging Rights pay-per-view to Minneapolis next year. As nice as it is to get a pay-per-view back in my area, I hope they tweak the concept because I was not impressed with the first run.
