WWE Raw onsite: First-time live event attendee shares his thoughts on attending his first WWE show, provides more details on Triple H having fun with John Cena and his father after the show went off the air

Dot Net reader Jay Provost attended Monday's WWE Raw show in Worcester, Mass. and provided the following report.
Monday was the first time I'd been to a live show. I've watched on TV for a long time but never had the chance to see it live. The DCU Center was packed, only one section behind the hard camera was tarped off. John Cena Sr. was taking pictures with fans before the show started, he had a ton of people around him. Excellent show and experience, I lost my voice from cheering on the heels all night. Fun to see the faces of Cena fans as they were appalled anyone could boo the hometown boy. Everyone was really into Cena, even popping at the slightest glimpse of him in a WrestleMania or Iraq video. Okay, on to the show.
After WWE Superstars, they changed the ring skirt for Raw and brought out Michael Cole and Jerry Lawler. Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne came out in the dark, so none of us saw them until they were in the ring. The crowd loved them, there were Ozzy chants all night. Actually, the crowd was into pretty much everything all night.
Not many people knew who Sheamus was, or cared who Jamie Noble was. The ensuing beatdown should help people remember Sheamus. There was a man with rather large arms in the front row that was trying to get Justin Roberts' attention all night by shouting and flexing his arms at him. During this segment he was going crazy, yelling at everyone around him. I'm not sure what it was all about, but when I looked back over a few minutes later he was gone, so I'm sure they had him removed.
We used the "Raw's Got Talent" segment as our bathroom break and got back just in time for the Divas. They really are ten times hotter in person, especially Kelly Kelly. Fans were pretty into it, for what it was.
The place was unhinged when Cena's music hit. He got the biggest pop of the night by a long shot. Everyone except my buddy and I were firmly behind everything Cena did. Chris Jericho got great heat throughout the match, as per usual. Kids were pretty bummed when Cena took the fall.
After Raw went off the air, Randy Orton's music hit and he came out with Jericho and the Big Show behind him. They entered the ring and motioned for DX and Cena to get up and fight. There was a brief scuffle, and the faces ended up running off JeriShow and leaving Orton on his back in the middle of the ring. As he got up and slowly realized he was surrounded, he tried to get Cena to team up and take on DX, but Cena refused the handshake.
Orton then went over to Hunter and asked him for his DX hat, which Orton put on backwards. He turned around and yelled "the newest member of DX" with a perfect sarcastic look on his face. He threw a couple of crotch chops, then walked back to Hunter, gave the hat back and offered a handshake. Trips almost accepted, but then gave him a crotch chop, which was followed by all the faces hitting their finishers on Orton.
Orton slid out of the ring and went to the back as HBK grabbed a mic and gave it to Hunter. DX tried to get Cena into the right pose to do the 'are you ready' bit, but he was having a hard time. First he was too stiff, then flopped to the ground and was 'a bit too loose.' Hunter tried to show him that its all in the core, and did a little Ravishing Rick Rude action, which Cena awkwardly tried to imitate. Hilarious stuff here.
Finally Hunter called up a man in the front row, who was "Faaaaabulous" which of course was John Cena's father. HHH got him to do a little Rick Rude hip swivel, which seemed to embarrass Cena Jr. a little. Hunter said, "Hey, I'm just glad his head is alright after Edge slapped him and Randy Orton punted him, and all the other things he did to pop a pay per view buyrate for his son," which got a lot of laughs. They finally got on with the bit, with Cena Sr. providing the "we've got two words for ya" and all four doing the crotch chops to the DX pyro.
Awesome show all around, even better then I expected. I hope the WWE comes back to Worcester soon, and they should since the crowd was hot all night.
