Former WWE Champion makes a surprise appearance on Saturday Night Live
Oct 18, 2009 - 12:52 PM |
Former WWE Champion The Rock (Dwayne Johnson) appeared in the first segment of Saturday Night Live last night. In the past, Johnson has hosted the show three times and during his last appearance, he made popular a Barack Obama/Incredible Hulk hybrid character called "The Rock Obama." Johnson portrayed the character even though Gerard Butler was the host.
Twill's Two Cents: It should be noted that Johnson did not appear at the end of the broadcast when everyone stands on stage while the host thanks everyone. Usually, the surprise guest stars are still around at that point. It was cool to see Johnson on the show and he (and that character) have become an SNL favorite.
