Ric Flair was an emotional wreck before his WrestleMania match
Mar 31, 2008 - 07:49 PM

Ric Flair was unable to talk with agents and other wrestlers on Sunday without breaking down and crying. The PWTorch.com reports that everyone around him was concerned about whether he'd be able to get through the match.

Powell’s POV: Flair told reporters at the press conference on Saturday that he'd be a different man when he walked the aisle on Sunday. He maintained his composure on his way to the ring and then got caught up in the match. Of course, he was in tears when referee Charles Robinson's hand hit the mat for a third time and was clearly emotional afterward. It's amazing he was able to put on his game face and get through the match given how emotional he was in the days leading up to his match.

This original source for the above news was Wade Keller of PWTorch.com.

Did Sting winning the TNA Title with help from Kevin Nash enhance your enjoyment of the BFG PPV or make you want to order the replay?
Yes. The interference didn't bother me enough to take away from the show or the title change.
No. The finish was a letdown and I'm tired of cheap finishes.
