WWE News: Final results are in for Jerry Lawler's run for mayor of Memphis

WWE Hall of Famer Jerry Lawler lost his bid to become the Mayor of Memphis. A.C. Wharton, Jr. won the election with 30,964 votes (64 percent). Lawler finished in fifth place with 4,044 votes (4 percent). For the full story, visit MyFoxMemphis.com.
Powell's POV: Well, The King gave it a shot. Wharton Jr. finished 42 percent ahead of the second-place finisher, so he ran away with the special election. Long live the, um, mayor.
