"Firstly, my contract expires sometime in December," Ross wrote. "Secondly, there have been no serious negotiations but WWE seems to want me to stick around and I prefer to do so as well.

Powell's POV: Signing Ross would be absolutely huge for TNA. He'd kill two birds with one stone by serving as the play-by-play voice and as head of the wrestling side of the company. Let's not forget that Ross assembled one hell of a roster while serving as WWE head of talent relations during the Monday Night War era. The big question, though, is whether he's even interested in leaving WWE at this point in his career, and only he knows the answer.
