WWE News: Pittsburgh Steelers player discusses his WWE Raw experience and how the company treated him
Oct 9, 2009 - 11:13 AM |
Steelers offensive tackle Max Starks appeared on "Late Hits" on Sirius NFL Radio on Thursday and discussed his WWE Raw experience. Producer Nick Kostos and engineer Agahzi Giorgis played the DX intro music which Starks seemed to get a kick out of.
The hosts, Bryan McGovern and Ross Tucker opened up asking him about the experience on Raw. Starks said it was an amazing experience and he got "geeked up" when he heard the music play and walked out onto the stage in front of the crowd.
When asked about the commute (the Steelers played the Chargers Sunday night), he said WWE chartered a flight for Ben Roethlisberger and the offensive linemen who appeared on the show. He put WWE over as a top notch company that does everything first class.
Powell's POV: It's no surprise to hear that WWE is taking care of their guest hosts. The last thing they want is for celebrities or athletes to spread the word to their peers about bad experiences.
