WWE Raw faced what appears to be the highest-rated program in cable television history on Monday
Oct 6, 2009 - 01:15 PM |
The Minnesota Vikings win over the Green Bay Packers scored a whopping 14.2 metered rating on Monday night, according to SportsBusinessDaily.com. The game is expected to be the highest-rated cable television program ever once the final numbers come in.
Powell's POV: It will be interesting to see how big of a bite the NFL took out of the Raw ratings this week. I still like the idea of Ben Roethlisberger as the guest host because I'm sure it enticed some NFL fans to flip over to Raw during commercial breaks. More importantly, it scored WWE some ESPN attention on a night when the network did monster ratings.
