WWE Raw rating: The show drops with Al Sharpton as the guest host
Sep 30, 2009 - 03:37 PM |
WWE Raw drew a 3.1 rating, which is down from the 3.5 rating the show drew last week. The first hour of the show posted a 3.06 rating and drew 4,413,000 viewers, while the second hour scored a 3.15 rating with 4,586,000 viewers.
Powell's POV: I don't know how much of the lower rating can be attributed to Al Sharpton, but I did receive a surprisingly large number of emails from readers who said they weren't watching the show because he was the host. Hey, don't shoot the messenger! My guess is the lousy rating had more to do with the Monday Night Football game, but I don't think Sharpton helped WWE's cause.
