9/29 WWE Smackdown taping in Boston: A second report on the 10th Anniversary Special featuring appearances by Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and Vickie Guerrero (spoilers)

WWE Smackdown taping
Boston, Mass.

New Intro - pretty hot.

1. Batista defeated Kane. This is how we started Smackdown X... and Batista wins... ugh.

A dance party went on backstage. Vickie Guerrero, with new short hair, is all over a new wrestler, Eric Escobar... whatever... as if she never left.

Eddie Guerrero tribute video. Awesome stuff.

The Rock cut a brilliant promo. He said he would be a Raw guest host. Classic stuff. He ripped on Punk and Taker which was cool stuff. He got over MAJORLY with the Boston crowd.

2. The Miz and Dolph Ziggler defeated Kofi Kingston and John Morrison. Morrison was pinned by Dolph. Rather odd, but still good action until the pin. Jack Swagger was on commentary.

3. Michelle McCool pinned Melina in a Lumberjill Match. Boring as shit.

CM Punk ended the Smackdown party with a promo about not drinking. I bought his stratight edge shirt but did it while holding a beer. There is a chance Drew McIntyre interfered too but I can't tell at this point.

4. John Cena, The Undertaker, Triple H, and Shawn Michaels defeated C.M. Punk, Randy Orton, Cody Rhodes, and Ted DiBiase. Undertaker hit the Tombstone and got the pin.

Great crowd, big heat on anyone anti-Cena. Not as epic as originally thought, but definitely worth the attendance.
