On Saturday night, despite his efforts to put an end to a debate that only included four candidates, Jerry "The King" Lawler was unsuccessful in stopping the debate. A poll was conducted before the debate and the top four vote getters were permitted to participate. The person who finished fifth had supporters protesting for him outside of the debate. Twill's Two Cents: Too bad Lawler was not involved in the debate because according to the article, there were some serious personal shots taken between two of the candidates. The papers could have had a field day with the WWE references.
