Jim Ross provides an update on the status of WWE star Jeff Hardy's reality television show project, comments on Bret Hart, offers two more WWE Hall of Fame candidates
Sep 26, 2009 - 02:06 AM

WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross updated the blog section of JRsbarbq.com. The following items are among the highlights.

-Ross on Jeff Hardy: "I hear that the previously discussed Jeff Hardy reality show is still on the drawing board pending, I assume, the results of Jeff's legal entanglement being resolved. From what I hear, the Jeff Hardy reality show concept is not dead."

Powell's POV: Reality television producers love controversy. It might be a different story if Hardy were talking with Disney, but Hardy's arrest might actually make him more appealing to some producers.

-Ross on the WWE Hall of Fame: "Two more WWE HOF suggestions would include Antonio Inoki and Ted 'The Million Dollar Man' DiBiase. I hope that I just didn't jinx either man. Both men have made significant and diverse contributions to the business."

Powell's POV: DiBiase should be a slam dunk. Inoki is an interesting candidate. WWE hasn't done much to acknowledge the Japanese product, but he is deserving and one can only assume they would garner some major publicity in Japan.

-Ross on Bret Hart: "Loved this email...what's most likely to ocur...Bret Hart appearing on WWE TV or Fedor signing with UFC? Easily it's Bret Hart making an appearance on a WWE show as I never see Fedor signing with UFC under the ridiculous terms of his recent contract demands."

Powell's POV: Very interesting that Ross would address this question at the same time the Bret Hart to WWE buzz is occurring.

Other topics include Undertaker, WWE Raw guest hosts Al Sharpton and Dennis Miller.
