Linda McMahon updated her blog on Wednesday with her response to a Washington political publication that pointed out she has made political contributions to the Republican and Democrat parties.

"Although I’ve given more to Republican candidates than to Democrats, as the CEO and the public face of WWE, my contributions were consistent with the fact that WWE, like most businesses, is nonpartisan," Linda wrote.

"Make no mistake: I’m a Republican. And I believe I’m the one fiscally conservative Republican who can win the Republican primary, and more importantly, win a general election against Chris Dodd." To read the full blog, visit Linda2010.com.

Powell's POV: Anyone who knows the McMahon family will tell you that it's no secret she and Vince share Republican viewpoints. As for donating to both parties in the past, her explanation seems logical to me. Does anyone else think she's giving her potential opponent Dodd plenty of unnecessary exposure by mentioning him so frequently?
