WWE places security between their wrestlers and the TNA crew
Mar 28, 2008 - 04:30 PM |
WWE is holding a fan event at Universal Studios right next to the soundstage area where TNA is taping Impact. The TNA website claims that WWE hired security to stand guard and prevent anyone associated with TNA from entering a restricted area. The story also notes that several TNA wrestlers were able to convince security that they posed no threat and were able to visit with their WWE friends. Powell’s POV: TNA officials are clearly getting off on the attention WWE is giving them by instructing their wrestlers not to mingle with TNA talent. It's worth noting that WWE made this rule before TNA aired a shot of WWE wrestler Robbie McAllister on Impact last night.
At the same time, TNA's Jeff Jarrett instructed at least one TNA performer not to use the ticket he purchased to the WWE Hall of Fame ceremony because he felt it would make the company look bad if the person was shown on WWE television.
