Dot Net reader Ryan Schultz attended the WWE Raw taping in Chicago, Ill. on Monday and filed the following report.

Dark Match

1. Alex Riley defeated Jamie Noble. Riley was billed as a Chicago guy. Noble worked on Alex's left leg a lot. Alex won in 3 min with an inside cradle. Alex got a nice reception.

WWE Superstars

1. Sheamus defeated Yoshi Tatsu. Sheamus worked on Yoshi's back a lot. There were three separate, large Yoshi chants. He came back with some kicks and three chops, which drew lots of whoooooos. Sheamus hit his leg kick and finisher. Sheamus won in five minutes.

2. Jack swagger and The Miz beat Primo and Kofi Kingston. Big pop for Kofi. Lots of heat for Miz. Typical tag match. Kofi ran into swagger and knocked him off the ring apron. Miz hit his finisher on Kofi in four minutes.

WWE Raw Notes

Biggest pops - Dx, John Cena, Bob Barker.

Most heat - AJ Pierzynski, Randy Orton, Chris Jericho.

Both barker and Hunter noted how crazy and loud the crowd was. They couldn't believe the reception they got. My point of view... I think WWE notices this as well. They come to Chicago quite a bit and have hosted several pay-per-views in the past few years. Chicago crowds are always very into it and loud.

There was a ton of Cubs fans in the crowd. They did not like A.J. at all. Sorry, Jason, I know your a Twins fan, but I love the White Sox. I was probably the only one clapping when A.J. "came on down". But I will give you this.... The Twins own the Sox in the dome. You guys dominate us.

Powell's POV: Believe it or not, I don't dislike A.J., which is rare for a Twins fan. There was actually a time when I grumbled about the Twins trading the proven thing in A.J. even though there were no guarantees on some kid named Joe Mauer. Yes, I'm an idiot when it comes to baseball (and many, many other topics!). Considering we picked up Joe Nathan and some other players in the A.J. deal, I'd say it worked out nicely for the Twins.
