WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross updated the blog section of JRsbarbq.com. The following items are among the highlights.

-Ross on a future WrestleMania site: "BTW the new Cowboys Stadium HAS to be a future WrestleMania site. That might be a few years away but Jerry Jones creation would hold 100,000 fans which would be a headline grabber not to mention big bucks for WWE. If you ever have a chance to visit this stadium, go for it. It's the most amazing facility I've personally ever seen."

Powell's POV: Great idea, but would the wrestlers hit their heads on the big scoreboard would hang over the ring? Yes, I know it's 90-feet above the playing service. It was a lame joke. No need to send me a bunch of correction emails.

-Ross on Dragon Gate USA he attended on Sunday and Brian Kendrick: "Loved the Dragon Gate show. The fans in attendance were awesome. Their passion was infectious. Bravo to them. The talents worked so hard in the ring. Their style is uniquely fast and athletic. Lots of the great Ultimo Dragon stylings which was expected and exciting. Had a chance to visit with Brian Kendrick and he seemed happy which was good. Brian's basing out of LA these days and says he has plenty of work lined up. I wish him well. The King and I met some super fans at our pre-event signing. I enjoy hearing what's on the minds of the fans of the biz. Thanks to all that dropped by to say hello."

Powell's POV: J.R. also mentioned that there was at least one fan who wasn't so kind when it came to Oklahoma losing starting quarterback Sam Bradford in their surprising loss to BYU on Saturday. What the hell is wrong with people? I despised Brett Favre for years (I suddenly feel much differently), but I never wanted the guy to get hurt. Worse yet, Bradford is a college player. He's a kid. What the hell is wrong with some people?

-Ross on WWE Raw guest host Bob Barker: "Bob Barker is staying at the same hotel I'm in here in Chicago. Who will get 'Happy Gilmored' Monday night? Someone's got to, right? Who's gonna get the Rod Roddy announcer gig Monday night? Won't be this Okie as I don't look good in a sequin jacket. That look doesn't work with a black hat."

Powell's POV: J.R. might make a good Johnny Olson, who preceded Roddy as The Price is Right announcer. How bad is it that I know this useless TPIR info off the top of my head, yet I barely remember last week's Raw show? My grandmother, who had a major crush on Bob Barker and never missed TPIR, has a big smile in heaven right now.
