The following contains a spoiler regarding the WWE Smackdown show that has not aired on the West Coast as this is being written.

Jeff Hardy lost a loser leaves WWE match to C.M. Punk in the main event of Friday's Smackdown show. As previously noted, Hardy has fulfilled his contractual obligations to the company and intends to take a break from pro wrestling. He has been telling friends that he has a reality television show project in the works, as first reported by Dot Net months ago.

Powell's POV: Multiple WWE sources still expect Hardy to return to the company at some point. However, he has not committed to a return date. Obviously, it would be a major WrestleMania moment if the company could get him back in time for that show. This is old news to Dot Net regulars, but I'm sure there are plenty of casual readers who are checking the site after watching Hardy lose the match to Punk.
