Vince McMahon says launching his own cable network would give him leverage, comments on the future of WWE Raw on USA Network

Vince McMahon told the Los Angeles Times that his desire to have a WWE cable network is not a threat to USA Network. "It won't be a threat, it'll be an integration," McMahon said. He added that "it's good for Raw to be on USA."
Vince did concede that the network would be helpful in one area. "Having your own network allows you a lot of leverage," he said. To read the full story, check out the LATimes.com.
Powell's POV: Vince has to watch what he says or run the risk of upsetting USA Network or other network officials. I would be surprised if all first-run WWE programming ended up on a WWE network. After all, the NFL has it's own network, yet it still has four broadcast partners.
