Powell's POV: Most people within the industry believe Jeff will appear at the Smackdown tapings on Tuesday and then take a break from the company. In other words, I wouldn't read too much into this advertised appearance being a sign that he's going to be sticking around long term. Of course, nothing is official regarding Jeff's status, and WWE officials have made a strong push for several months to get him to re-sign a long term contract.
