WWE Champion Randy Orton did an interview with STLtoday.com out of St. Louis, the site of this Monday's Raw. Orton covered a lot of ground in the piece, including being on the road with his dad, "Cowboy" Bob Orton when he was a kid. "Growing up, being around my father and his buddies in the business like Hulk Hogan, Andre the Giant, Junk Yard Dog, Hillbilly Jim, Greg Valentine, Roddy Piper, you name it, anyone back then in that era that wrestled, I was mixing it up with them in the locker room. I was young when I was on the road with my dad — 5, 6, 7 — but it was when he was in his prime with the WWF, at the time. It was a lot of fun."
When asked who his dream match would be against, Orton said he has already wrestled against his dream opponents. He put over his SummerSlam opponent John Cena as a great competitor and the pound for pound strongest guy he has been in the ring with. Finally, when asked simply, "Hulk Hogan or Ric Flair?" Orton picked Flair. To read the very good interview, click here.
Twill's Two Cents: Very nice interview with Orton that also focused a lot on his life outside of the ring as a father and husband. I highly recommend reading the interview.
