WWE WrestleMania special to air on NBC

NBC issued a press release to announce that it will be airing a WWE WrestleMania 25 special on Aug. 29 at 8 p.m. CT. The special will feature highlights from the event with music from AC/DC, Korn, The Hives, Borne, Ryan Star, Hollywood Undead, and Kevin Rudolf. To read the press release, check out NBC.com.
Powell's POV: WWE aired a similar special on MyNetwork TV for the WrestleMania 24 event last year. It's a nice coup for the company, but the timing is off since they won't be able to promote the SummerSlam pay-per-view, which airs the Sunday before the NBC special.
