WWE main eventer John Cena giving back
Jul 30, 2009 - 02:31 PM |
WWE headliner John Cena and his brother Dan are holding a muscle car benefit event to help the family of Kenny Fowler, a firefighter who died in December 2007. "Kenny was a friend growing up," Dan Cena told the Newbury Port News. "Anyone who got into muscle cars in West Newbury got into it because of Kenny." The event takes place on Aug. 15 from noon to five at Pentucket Regional High School in West Newbury, Mass. To read the full story, visit NewburyPortNews.com.
Powell's POV: The story notes that John purchased a 2010 Chevy Camaro and donated it so that it could be raffled off. They are selling 450 $100 raffle tickets at the West Newbury Police Station. The WWE star is also signing autographs at the event. A classy move by the Cenas.
