C.M. Punk says WWE has no competition, identifies a TNA wrestler as his best friend

C.M. Punk was asked by the UK Sun whether he would consider jumping ship from WWE. "No, I'd not jump ship, this is the place to be, nowhere comes close and I'm happy here," Punk said. "We don't really have any competition and if you want to be a top class professional wrestler in the US you have to be working for the WWE."
Punk also spoke about his best friend Samoa Joe. "Not that I should shed light on my personal life, but I've just recently stayed at Joe's house in Florida for a few nights, we just hung out, never mentioned wrestling and relaxed," he said. "He's still my best friend. It's awesome to just chill out and relax by the pool that way." To read the full interview, visit the UK Sun.
Powell's POV: Other topics included Ric Flair, dream matches against retired wrestlers, and the death of Mitsuharu Misawa. Punk noted that he's "never even locked up with" Undertaker, John Cena, Triple H, or Shawn Michaels, so there's plenty of dream match potential for the future.
