More details on what happened with Jeff Hardy and C.M. Punk after the WWE Night of Champions PPV went off the air, plus fans lose interest during another title match
Jul 27, 2009 - 09:22 AM |
Dot Net reader Brett attended the WWE Night of Champions pay-per-view and filed the following report.
After the handshake C.M. Punk left, and Jeff Hardy went around giving high fives to the crowd. He found a kid would couldn't have been older then 10 (and probably more like 7-8) who was in full on Jeff gear with the arm stockings, wife beater, pants, etc. and brought him into the ring. He danced with the kid and finally put the belt on the kid's shoulder and let him do the Jeff dance by himself. Jeff helped the kid back to his seat and slowly walked up the ramp before celebrating a little bit again at the top of the ramp.
I'm not sure if it came over on the PPV coverage, but in the ringside section I was in there was a fairly loud "End this match" chant for about the last 2-3 minutes of the IC title match between Rey Mysterio and Dolph Ziggler.
